Drew, that house looks very much like ours in Ga without the extension. Built early 50s. Enjoy your search.
Well, curiosity got the best of me... I had to look up my old property / house that I built in Bucks Co. years ago. I sold it in 1990 for $199K. When I just looked it up.... going price is $965K..... I should not have looked.... At least it is interesting that the same siding and color of shutters is the same. The few trees I planted near the house are humongous! I guess that is cool....
Prayers for both Jay and Peg, that's a lot to deal with.
Ken, thanks for looking that up for me. I got another lead a few hours later, Aquetong and Meeting House Road, first floor of carriage house on beautiful farm. Turns out
owner's parents used to be my insurance clients 30+ years ago, small world. I may have even insured the property... These are all rentals btw, so other than adding some window units, not investing anything in property. The pics you found Ken were actually uplifting, I thought this place would look a lot dumpier. Will know upon inspection, my SIL who lives outside NewHope is on the job. Here's where the second place is: Google Maps
just finished brewing pot of decaf coffee, my that smells nice. Amazon delivery just came in, going to read my book and enjoy the coffee. Diuretic impact of my old caffeinated stuff really messed me up, going to hold off on all caffeine until chemo is done. Having the room spin around was not fun at all.
94 degrees and sunny out.

I found something fun googling my childhood farm's address. Folks who tore down our 1720 stone colonial home and built a garage on
the foundation (must have been some real trickery to get that past restrictive zoning) then build this monstrosity just in front. Tara for sure.
but look down the pics and you will see my grandfather's house on the same farm, I lived there for several years, and part of the orchard and grape
arbor I was trained to prune as a kid. Nice to see that still there. 70 percent of farm went into permanent conservation, that was our family's requirement but sure looks
like they built up more than that. And no one wants to buy this ridiculous house. Look at the monthly cost estimates...maybe this could be a country home for one of the uber rich that pays 200M for an apartment that looks over Manhattan...on the market since 2017.
The view out the front door is of Bowman's Hill Tower, location, location...and my grandfather was genuinely worried he was paying too much for 116 acres at $16,000![]()
I grew up bushhogging those fields with a John Deere B...
There are ten custom homes built back in the woods, all in the $2-4M range.
this is why I am not considering buying, just silly expensive
