72F and clear @ 09:00, heading up to a high of 90F. 50% chance of thunderstorm tomorrow, with the possibility some could be severe. Could use a good soaking.

Got chunks of concrete block that I removed from the shop when I installed the air conditioner busted up with the sledge yesterday. They will get incorporated into the driveway on an edge where it narrows and is missing some base.

Worked on next Menards order last night.

Got approval to replace the retaining wall on west side of house. Old landscape timbers I installed there many years ago are finally rotting out. Will replace with hardscape/retaining wall blocks.

Probably work on cutting down jungle with brush cutter on east side of house while it's still relatively cool out and the area is in shade. Then likely work on grass pick up.

Have to go uncover sparrow trap and let new customers know we're open for business.

The Woman left a note this morning that we were finally successful with coon trapping overnight ... so will have to handle that as well ...

Wish it was 62 here, Toppop...but still felt good watering the garden before sunrise with it at 67...going to 91, and more humidity but no rain.

Kyle, sorry wife's been sick, glad not the Chinese flu.

Glad Kekoa not too serious....I have to rotate the foods I hide Coco's pills in...she gets wise and refuses even the best treats: cheese, thin deli sliced ham or turkey...I'm mostly having to push the pills into the back of her throat now, then give a treat. My wife found some expensive dog treats called Pill Pockets...look like hollow Hershey kisses to stuff a pill into...she loved them for exactly one day...now won't even eat it without a pill. She is doing better and the tests show no cancer....but looks pretty bad.

Ate our first tomato last night from the garden...also getting okra, peppers, beans, flowers, squash, zucchini. Hard to keep it watered using our well. All hand watering since sprinklers are not efficient.

Rick...Cha Ching. Used my radiator Genie a couple of times and it's fantastic. I'm ready to send you the commission...just need your bank account number, password and Social Security Number.

Would plain old cash work? Or send me a check with the first number .. I'll take care of the zeros.

Glad you like your RG .. I use the one for air most often but, about once a month I wash out radiators and coolers with water.

RS, I need to start trapping Sparrows. Bluebirds show up. Then next I know they are gone in a couple of days.

HOSP are pretty social within their own species ... I've seen them act like a mob in pestering bluebirds ... so I'm sure it couldn't hurt ... :thumbsup:

Also I avoid feeding cracked corn, millet or bread and just to stick black oil sunflower, nyjer (thistle) and suet instead.

But...no a/c, would have to buy window units, not a big deal if the electrical system can handle it. Will be able to go see it after August 1 when current
tenants vacate. I know most of these homes, probably insured this house 30 years ago when I owned town's main insurance agency, it's an older small home that
might be ok. And I'm responsible for lawn/snow, sigh, but clearly could sub that out.

I can swing by if you are serious. Looks like 3/4 acre mostly flat. I have a good/cheap lawn guy , but he doesn't do snow outside of his commercial clients.

Looks like they have been renting out for years so don't know how old the pictures are. They might have a local person to do lawn/snow already.

Everything was going fine until EEROR 404 show up for TBN this morning :shocked: and put me back about dozen steps so far today.
Plans for today...trip to town for goodies and critter food,install couple basement windshields keep window wells filling up with rain,other than that :confused3:

Good morning to all! Low finally went down into the 50s again, nice sleeping weather. A bit overcast this morning, chance of showers tonight.

Drew, nice little cottage, but holy cow! Those prices are crazy! I can only imagine what our old house there is selling for now.... no never mind, I DON'T want to know.... I hope that you are able to find a suitable place up there without having too much problem.

Jay, glad to see you posting again. Sorry to read about your ongoing stuff.... Disruption can happen so fast / easy, but getting everything back to order seems an eternity. Hang in there!

Wng, glad to hear that Coco's tests came back negative for cancer, I hope they can get to find the problem quickly.

Rick, did you get the commission check I sent you? Radiator genie works great for blowing out the shop floor too.... I don't have to bend over...

Today is errand day, multiple stops, probably be going all day from one place to another. My own fault... I kept wanting to consolidate trips, so now it is a full day.
