Good morning!!!!

88 and humid now, maybe some more rain end of the week. We had a little over an inch Monday night and Tuesday afternoon. We needed it too.

Drew, I’m just wishing you the best in all this.

Planted the fig and mimosa yesterday, got tomato cages around them until I build the surrounds, so I don’t accidentally mow them. I did that once.

Gotta get busy, making tacos tonight.

Good afternoon all.

Local reports said the kid was lost in the woods overnight, not just three hours. Apparently the killer didn't know any of his victims; he just shot them, then drove away in his side-by-side. He was shot and captured; sure hope this one gets the death penalty, but it's doubtful under the present administration.

In other news, they arrested another arsonist yesterday, captured at the scene of the fire. It was a woman.

Another arsonist was caught just the day before, a man.

Both fires were contained to less than 20 acres, but it's very disturbing that there are people out there doing this. Not surprising, though, as there is basically no mental health facility in place to hold those that aren't safe to be on the streets. There are small scale treatment programs, but when a patient plateaus out, they get kicked out onto the street. Most re-offend. Wash, rinse, repeat.

On July 4th, a woman was arrested for catching a home's landscaping on fire with fireworks. Apparently she has a history of arrests, and is a more than a few bricks shy of a full load. Why anyone would give her fireworks, and alcohol, is beyond me.

The key thing is to make sure the suction valve, connecting tank to the pump, is opened before engaging the PTO drive. Then control outlet pressure with engine rpm.

Does your truck have foam capabilities? Foam is useful sometimes .. but you have to flush entire system, with fresh water, after using it.

Sounds simple enough, Rick. Just need to figger out what button/valve/lever does what, and get the steps down in order. Then practice.

I was on hold with VOX tech support for an hour and a half this morning, and finally gave up and left a message to be called back. Temps are well into the 90s now, so some homework sounds like a good idea right about now.

This truck came from a small town fire department in Ohio, near where I was raised. So no foam, but something of a miracle it ended up with me. One of those small world things.

Thanks for many of you asking about her and continuing to suggest ideas. She actually tested positive for Lyme a little over 2 years ago...even though she has been on the leading tick and flea preventative all her life. She was treated for it and seemed to have no lingering issues.

She is now diagnosed with complicated compound auto-immune diseases, possibly triggered by reaction to the many antibiotic and other meds she has had to take. It really flared up 3 weeks ago when her regular vet added, then changed meds. Another reason I'm personally reluctant to take any drugs except an occasional ibuprofen. Glad I'm retired so I can care for her. We've gotten to know each other even better. :)

She's lost over 20 pounds, but is eating better and discovering foods she's never dreamed of. I'm hopeful the dermatology vet will like her improvement tomorrow.
Just wondering if the vet checked Coco for Lyme disease, Billy?

The article did say the teenager was in the woods 30 hours. I've noticed several times previously that when a link is attached "it"
drops a zero.

The problem with working from home, my wife just dropped a “ can you grill some chicken in 15 minutes”. I’m still at work. It’s 91° out and the grill is in the sun.

It seems like this virus thing is un-hinging people. More wacky behavior than normal.
