The scanning is fast, documenting them in the title takes time. I can lay several on scanner and it finds them. I date them yyyymmdd_state_infoAboutPic. If I don’t know date I at least guess on year. If no day I use 00 or XX to fill the space. I then put in a directory by year. Each 10 yrs put in a directory, labeled 1990s, that way I can easily control directory structure.
The newer photo sw uses the metadata, I don’t want them dated by the scanned date.

Eric, that is a nice tool, I sure could have used that when I was taking down my 3 mile fence, all I used was the other two tools in the photo.

.

That point on fencing plyers does same thing, beat it under a stubborn staples.

I find it incredible how little we actually understand ourselves and this virus. It is really humbling. Then you add our societal values into this pandemic
..and well...here we are.
During this covid19 time you may not want to try improve your immune system.

The Immune System and COVID-19 Treatment | NutritionFacts.org

The 8 minute tube has some interesting points, the bottom line is to decrease your exposure because your immune system can be used booster covid19. It's complicated.

This is good news for Drew. at 2:40

thanks Don. Good to know, clearly prevention in the first place is key. My sister sent me an article on a treatment being worked on at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, a world leader for sure, involving CAR NK therapy, the NK being "natural killer" cells produced by our own bodies. Seems what our body can provide, if the right stuff, is even better than artificially generated medicines. Comes from donated umbilical cord blood, early results have been very good.
If my CT Scan on Wednesday comes back clear, will be a happy camper. If not, then will ask about these alternative approaches.
And I continue to wash my hands every morning after handling facility door knobs, to and from my daily walk,
and every two days I wipe down all touchpoints in room.

Otherwise I take a multivitamin a day to get a little extra Vitamin C.

RNG,

I started using Loctite 518 20 years ago at work, it migrated home. Long story, we had a leak problem on a PTO/transmission joint no one seemed to be able to fix. Found 518 at the NAPA store and gave it a try. Fixed!

518 also seals threads, works as a thread locker, etc.IME, if I Loctite 518 won稚 seal it, it is a sieve or it is broken. Good stuff.

515 is pretty good too. Never tried 5900. Have to check it out.

Thanks for the feedback on the 518, Rich.

The decoupler that sits on the front of the transaxle has had a leak on the actuator housing almost since it was installed. I've tried two types of ThreeBond with no success. This time I'm pulling it off and disassembling it to make sure all the seals that should be in it are. If it passes that test, it's gonna go back together with the 518. But I'm still gonna keep my fingers crossed.

I picked the 5900 because it's supposed to be able to span gaps up to 0.050. The oil tank flange is warped, I don't know how bad, but it'll get cleaned up and put on the granite for some measurements. Might have to spend some quality time moving it around on oily silicon carbide paper. I hope not, that would be a loooooooong, dirty exercise.

Thanks Rick, you're always so helpful. Pondguy's fluoridone???? costs $$$$$. I will look at other brands. I can wait for a natural flood to carry most of it out. Just need a fast 3-4 inches. Glad your pizza was good. My kids want it once a week....but we may be doing more spaghetti with all the sauce we are making.

Don, Lee county has just issued mandatory mask wearing for all businesses and public places. Employees and Customers. Our county has no hospital nor emergency room.

For any of you guys, (especially those watching Dr Sehult (sp?)) Is taking zinc still considered a helpful defense?

Drew, prayers for the best outcome, or the best treatment to get you back to your lifestyle.

Eric, most of my staples that need replacing, are gone??? Somebody must've borrowed your tool, come over at night, put all my staples in a metal bucket, and shipped them to Shropshire. :) Maybe I should Loctite my staples and Gorilla glue.....

Roy, glad you got some rain. The storm I needed went about 20 miles east of me last evening.

I looked up Menards (we don't have them down here) for power tools, looking for any deals. They don't have what I would call a big name brand. Masterforce is main one?

RNG, can you do a little body hammering on that oil pan to get it flatter?

Rich, I've been watching some Speedway highlights that come up in my FB feed. Always exciting. Still popular in Europe.
