Good morning! But not for my neighbor. He has the covid19. He did test positive has aches and pains for the last two weeks. He does not have any lung problems or fever.

Covid has spiked in our county to about 1800 with half still active, 35 deaths, 79 still in the hospital.

Cloudy, mid 70s to mid 90s.

Good morning! But not for my next-door neighbor. He has the covid19. He did test positive has aches and pains for the last two weeks. He does not have any lung problems or fever. His wife has a shop on the square across the street from the courthouse, the site of some "peaceful" protest, too close to lots of people. He is staying upstairs and his wife leaves food at the bottom of the stairs. She still is negative. He has a big corona beer sign on his fence to warn people. Our dogs run up and down the fence barking at each other, Whipper may have to wear a mask.

Covid has spiked in our town and county.

Cloudy, mid 70s to mid 90s.

Good Morning. Sorry to hear about your neighbor! Hopefully it will not be too severe for him.

I was exposed at work from one of my men. I have been in quarantine for the past 8 days. Did not find out I was exposed till last Saturday so Wednesday will be 14 days. No symptoms at all yet.

Apparently, my exposure is beyond the better or worse my wife and I vowed to one another 30 years ago. She was in Florida when I was exposed and decided to go stay with her sister in Dallas instead of coming home.

Cloudy and 83.

62 right now...high about 80 and a pretty good chance of thunderstorms and rain...I can do without the thunderstorms, but I sure welcome the rain...

Pretty good day yesterday....only things I didn't get done was the haircut and pick up the .300BLK rifle. One of the (two) barbers didn't show up to work and I didn't want to wait around....the NICS system was really slow and, after about 30 minutes of waiting, came back with a delay of approval until 02 July.

Neighbor bought a Kioti tractor. I'm not real familiar with Kioti's, but I think it's a CK2610 with a cab. Nice looking machine! Didn't get any pics as I was actually mowing at the time. I got part of the lawn that was mostly green and cut about an inch higher. The rest was too brown, even though it could use a trim

Today...just putter around outside until it rains...

Oh yeah...
My Woodmaxx 8h chipper is a great implement...but it came with the biggest PITA PTO driveshaft (the optional US made one) I've ever used. This is one of those with a ring you have to retract to get it on the tractor's PTO shaft. Just a real pain to connect...
Rant off...

My Bearcat chipper has that same coupler and I can't use it any more since I don't have the strength to pull back the ring and push the shaft on. Getting old SUCKS!!!

69°F and .05 inches rain. Guess I’ll be dragging the garden hose this morning.

Weed whackers driving me bananas:
Fuel line split on Maruyama, haven’t found replacement line, but I know I had some last year. This is wife’s favorite. When it quit just before her cataract surgery in Nov I broke the starter rope. Fixed that but won’t start either with starter fluid. Temperamental machine that has been back to dealer multiple times over its lifetime.
The 4 cycle Poulan is leaking oil just sitting without running, strange in that I ran it until gas ran out last time. That was when I was using saw blade to cut down my albizias. Always been too unbalanced and wife never used.
The Troy Bilt is newest of the lot about 5 years and worked good last time I used it but now only starts when cold, quits when warm. Carb diaphragm looks questionable, exhaust is clear so maybe needs new spark plug which I’m not making a special trip for.

Starting to think maybe 40 volt battery machine is in my future. Wife has a smallish 20v which is great unless you get behind like I did.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

I can open barn doors without worrying about them falling off. Next is caulk, prime, and paint. Should last another 70 years.

I've 2 gas burner Stihls, an FS55 and a FS250 (I think that's their numbers) and a Flexvolt DeWalt. The DeWalt has about the power of the FS55, but starts a lot easier :) It will barely handle a brushcutter blade. Whereas the FS250 will handle small saplings and thick bamboo w/ the brushcutter.
