Good morning, internet access to TBN has been difficult these last couple of days, I can barely read a page of posts before it drops out again. This wet and windy weather may be the cause, everyone with good broadband streaming videos instead of getting out for exercise. I can't complain, it is such a relief to see grass growing again and the fields starting to turn back from brown to green.

Drew, my favourite battery drill/driver is also Bosch, a little 14V model. My wife likes Bosch too - the detective series on Amazon Prime.

Some other info I found out....After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and the President was declaring war, the Senate voted 100% for it, but the House of Reps had 1 dissenting vote.
Jeanette Rankin- a suffragette from Montana, voted against fighting back the aggressors and dictators.
In her own way she was a brave person to do that. Such a shame that good intentions alone are sometimes not enough when it comes to matters of survival.

Rick, your rolling ladder just keeps on giving more fun !

I'm having trouble posting pics using the little picture window button. I'm using my home PC, with google chrome.
Kyle, I use same setup, the easy way way of posting pictures has been broken for over a week. There is a thread about it in News/Feedback, but strangely no response from admin :confused3:

I had the first strawberries from the local fruit farm. I don't think it gets much better than fresh picked strawberries.
My wife picked half a dozen fresh from the garden only yesterday and shared them with me. She loves strawberries, sharing the first of the crop with me was special - or rather it would have been if she hadn't later confessed to have been picking them all week :)

Good morning all. 65 in Greenville NC going up to mid 80's in nice weather.
Roy, I made a decision I only go around once, knew I would only have it a few years, decided the depreciation was worth the joy of ownership, and drove my version of a Cadillac tractor for awhile. So back it went, on to another happy home and I am thoroughly satisfied.
Buppies, those rabid animals were dispatched with a 20 gauge only because that's what we had on the farm. Very spooky seeing a groundhog coming straight for me, twisting around, acting crazy, but my aim was true and put him down with first shot. Not what I wanted chewing on my ankle.

Woke up this morning with huge smile on my face. Thanks in part to new urinary drug called Flomax started last night, I made it through the entire night with no accidents, no clothes or bed wetting, dry as I started the night before. Granted I had to get up six times last night, as soon as the urges started, but everything felt more "normal" and less strained. Very encouraging that my body is starting to heal, to return to prior normal patterns. Will likely take a while but light at end of tunnel sure came on. Big quality of life issue for me, over time able to go longer distances and times without worry. Things we all take for/used to take for granted.

Now a very slow weekend, no PT scheduled, hard to not be bored to tears. I'm sitting here doing nothing while older brother and wife moving furniture over to new place. Wish I could help but not in cards. Brother's kids very upset with their parents even being here due to Covid, and my mild assurances that county has only had 43 cases total since the beginning with no deaths fallen on very unreceptive ears. Kids live in area with high counts, are understandably nervous. This county, Pitt, has much higher counts due to colleges and hospitals here. Plus death rate is almost ten percent of total count. Isn't that awfully high? Likely due to hospitals where worst cases come. All still very worrisome.

First thing I'm doing on Monday when I get to assisted living is wipe down every square inch of that place. Trust only myself and need to remember what I've touched and when. No carrying the bad bugs back inside from the door handle outside.
feel a little stomach upset this morning from chemo yesterday, but not bad. Once I get a little food in me it should help.

Poured fist cup of coffee. 44° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 68° with Partly cloudy skies. Yesterday trip to U of M gardens was very nice. Took lots of pictures. Cut grass when I got home. Some outdoor chores today. Take dogs into Vet for annual check up.
This Wild Iris is typical of what we saw.

Drew, glad Flomax is working for you. Side effects from it got me off it. Good to hear that you continue to improve. Prayers on the way.

Eric, strawberries are late this year here. Another couple of weeks. Sharing is the important part.

Randy, I will have to try Pizza BLT.

Don, hope you got back to sleep.

Buckeye, glad funeral went well.

Kyle, I remember that tomato smell when we did tomatoes. Loved it.

Rick, good to hear that you and stairs survived fall without injury. Not sure bubble suit will help that fall.

PJ, sorry to hear about rescue dog problems. Best wishes wife gets over not being able to save dog.

Bird, garbage pickup is a line item on our tax bill. $120 per year. Pickup 1 time a week for garbage and recycle. Large items require a call for pickup. I called township office to complain that pickup was destring our garbage cans by slamming them into ground on return cycle. Got an apology and repair of can. We are on 4th company doing the pickup in 25 years. It was a pain getting garbage pickup company before township took over contracting it.

RS, I got my fire extinguishers replaced early on. When recall came out. Did not have to return of originals. I did not remember what happened to them.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

59 and low humidity makes it feel like autumn. Going to only 80.

Buppies, did you find the owner of those pigs? You're not getting wild ones in your area, are you?

Ron, such a beautiful flower. We used to go hiking at a place when we lived in North Carolina that had many wild irises growing along a stream. Now we have big ones planted in the flower bed.

Paul, sorry about your foster dog. You are good people.

BEF, sounds like you gave a well researched tribute, and what a beautiful cemetery.

Rick, glad you're not hurt...your trailer deck looks better than mine (18 years old), so I better go check it for rot.

Moved some tractor implements and cleaned the tractor radiator and zero turn real well, but unfortunately the genie did not arrive yet...so used my falling-apart air wand. Got another hour plus mowing done. Will either spray this morning if wind doesn't pick up before dew dries, or do some tilling and planting, or both.

BLT pizza!

Good morning, ha, I know too early - 1:30 am. Learned something tonight. 3 beeps of a hard wired with battery back-up smoke detector means that the smoke detector is malfunctioning and needs to be replaced OR cleaned OR the white neutral line is not connected properly. When I was trying to unplug it the white wire came out of the wire nut. Leaving it unplugged and will do some more test in the morning. Mumble mumble yawn . . . .

I feel your pain, Don. How come they never beep at 1:30 in the afternoon? Seems like it's always in the wee hours that the darn things decide they want a new battery!:irked:

Just you watch. Mine have been quiet for too long, and now will start beeping any minute!
