Good morning!!!!

Drew, maybe you could rent a storage for some of your stuff. I'm praying you come out on top of this and will need use of some of your stuff in the future. One day at a time. 2 more days and a ride out.

TxDon, glad your mom is going home. I'm wanting to see/hear the surprise of seeing the remaining half of her cat. I did like the "lion" style cut on her. Hope she gets spoiled some more.

PJS, sorry for your wifey's sadness. Sometimes I wonder if dogs like that might have a tumor or something physically wrong. Other times, I get mad at abusive owners.

Been having trouble sleeping all week. I wake up with back/shoulder aches, and have to get up to go P anyway...

My daughter is out on the riding mower now for about 30 minutes, and I haven't heard it hiccup/stall....Hope it is fixed.

Planning to BBQ hamburgers today....I'm off.

RNG, I might have posted this before, but it is about to be true for you soon.

Good deal on the Massey, Drew. Was reading RV’s are in demand right now so hopefully you’ll do great on resale.

I'm having trouble posting pics using the little picture window button. I'm using my home PC, with google chrome.

I have to go Advanced, and use manage attachments or something like that.

Is anyone else having to do this?

RNG,

Our local trash hauler provides a large (65 gallons ?) container on wheels for recyclables, slightly smaller than the similar container they provide for trash/garbage. Recyclables are picked up every other week, garbage/trash weekly. Clean cardboard is among the items they accept (so no greasy pizza boxes), along with marked plastic, paper, and metal. It usually takes us about a month to fill the recyclable container up.

This is one side benefit to government involvement in the process. Our community used to be serviced by multiple trash haulers. Well, somebody down at the mothership started thinking that maybe having all those large trucks from different companies run over the same road not collecting all the trash they were driving by wasn't the most efficient way to "git 'er done", plus mostly the additional wear on the roadways from the excess road miles (our situation on road maintenance changed bigly when we moved from being a township to being a city) ... so they announced that they were going to restrict it to a single company servicing the community and put the matter out for open bid.

Additional side benefits to that were that the company now provides the two containers (we used to have to provide our own) - which ends up better for them, because they can standardize their equipment to handle standard containers (duh) - and our bill dropped from over $90 every three months to less than $40 every three months. It has since (several years later) increased a few dollars (it's a little over $40 now) ... due to the over-abundance of recyclables and lack of demand for them.

I think the city or the county did a somewhat similar thing as far as electricity and natural gas pricing goes, only with a provision to opt out if you wish (enrollment is automatic, by default):

Save on Energy Costs | NOPEC

Our city just charges everyone $10.85 plus $0.90 tax ($11.75 a month) on the water bills to pay for once a week garbage collection. The company that currently has the contract, Community Waste Disposal (CMD) provided every home with a big wheeled recycling bin (and I've forgotten the exact size, but bigger than most wheeled garbage cans). We recycle everything we can and still only have to put out the recycling bin every third or fourth week. We actually have 2 garbage trucks from the company making the rounds every Monday. One for nothing but the recycling bins, and yes cardboard is acceptable and when I've had too much cardboard, I've just left it leaning on the bin and they take it. The other truck, each Monday, is for the garbage. They do NOT provide bins for that. Personally, I put ours out in plastic bags, some put out metal, some plastic, garbage cans. Officially, there's a limit on the number of containers a person can put out, but I can tell you that the garbage men pay no attention to any such limit. If they can get it into that truck, they take it. I've seen them take sofas, bedding, washing machines, etc.

Roy, it had 78 hours on it and more than a year left on the factory warranty. Good deal new, good deal used. Had grapple with all forward hydraulics, power top link, rear camera, etc. Loaded tractor, new owner will enjoy it I'm sure.

Drew this is probably a very good time to sell a RV. From what I have heard a lot of people are thinking that this is a good year for a RV vacation.

Some other info I found out....After Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, and the President was declaring war, the Senate voted 100% for it, but the House of Reps had 1
dissenting vote.

Jeanette Rankin- a suffragette from Montana, voted against fighting back the aggressors and dictators.

WW II HAD MANY STRANGE TWISTS, Henry Ford, Firestone and Joe Kennedy were all some level of pro ******, until it became obvious what he was.

I had the first strawberries from the local fruit farm. I don't think it gets much better than fresh picked strawberries. Pretty late this year.
