RNG, you might suggest scouring wrecking yards for both water pump and fan.

57 and rain today. Going to the hospital for some postponed test.
We have to wear a mask in public till the ban is lifted. I had some scraps hanging around so I made a little whimsical holder. Hope it makes someone smile.

60° going to 62° today, looks like a relatively dry nor’easter through Thursday. Want to work on the project but the weather will tell, I’m a sissy anymore and don’t like working in wind and drizzle.

Well Ted, a bit of progress. After today痴 bit of cleanup, trip to transfer station, meal with wife, I figured I could give the canopy some attention.
Placed the Clubcar canopy on the tractor just to get better idea what I had to do to frame. Doable, but...

Only 4 bolts hold the canopy on my old Ezgo, so figured it wouldn稚 be a major time waster to give it a try. Not perfect, but it would be a much easier fit.
So how much effort would it take to mount the Clubcar canopy on my Ezgo? Surprisingly not much.

Lined it up, drilled 6 holes, 4 screws and 2bolts later - done. Might repaint it, but maybe not. Good chance I might try to upgrade next year.

Ezgo top is tied to tractor right now awaiting next step.

Looks like a perfect fit! I can see the tractor in the background, looks like the canopy fits your frame pretty good too! Thanks for the update.

Have you looked at the governor?

No, I have not dug that far into it. This series of Kohler engines used a plastic gear / cam on the governor and are notorious for going bad. It is internal and would be a PIA to get to. The tractor is a 1998 model.... been used and abused. I am not sure if I even want to do that much work to it. Surprisingly, the HST is still very strong. I have contemplated putting one of the HF predator engines on it. Sure cheaper than buying a new crappy lawn tractor.

Good morning to all! Low was down to 48, going for 88 today. Still have a chance of T-storms tomorrow, with a cool down back to the mid 70s for a few days.

I am still hoping to hear good news from Drew.....

RNG, do you have to leave you trenches open for inspection? If not, maybe a little bit of dirt around / over the conduit and let the rain soak it down into place locking it in?

Today’s agenda is finish up on a bit of drip irrigation in the back yard. Will be more hassle to bury the drip line under the existing mulch than to hook up all the drippers. All of the plants back there are in containers and I already made up the risers to go up into the containers. After that...??

Good morning 55 going up to 67 and full cloud cover.
Was able to move bits of the Ash tree off the driveway Saturday.
More plants in, including tomatoes and some more flowers for the ms.
We had a new visitor, only 2 days old in our front lawn. See if you can spot our guest in the picture

Still haven't repaired the damage to the electrical conduit I caused with the backhoe. That'll be done when the solar contractor comes out to do the rest of the electrical work, hopefully this week or early next. I'd like to give that trench a couple of days to dry out before tackling that pile of dirt and rock, too.
