49°F and light rain this morning, going up to 62° today.

Wife has been battling some chigger bites she got over the weekend, so I took a trip to Walgreens last night to pick up some stuff for her. First time I've been in there in months. They not only have spots marked on the floor where you're suppose to stand at checkout, but they also have signs posted at the ends of each isle noting which way you are suppose to walk through the isles. They're all one-way streets now. As there were only two other people in the place, I duly disregarded their traffic flow. I'm a rebel like that.

Hammered out and finalized some lyrics for the new tune, but didn't have time to record vocals. Guess I'll do that tonight. More studio fun.

Glad you guys in Texas missed all the heavy weather.

That EGO pole saw looks like it has a much more solid head assembly than the Lynxx, Roy.

RNG, I know you wont believe me but black bears are more afraid of us than we are of them. They will avoid any and all human contact. Of course this theory goes right out the window if momma bear has cubs and you get between them and her.

Since when does Missouri Nat Guard have Bombers? I remember F-4 and F-15 when they were based at Lambert. :confused2:

Yeah, that's the first thing I wondered, too. And after checking it appears they apparently actually have them. These weren't on loan from the Air Force, these were MoNatG planes. I still have a hard time understanding why a state National Guard needs stealth bombers.

They've been gone from Lambert for many years now, but that F-4 is still mounted out in front of their old building.

I believe you 100%, Bill, for Canadian bears at least.

Our local bears are bold, and have no trouble ignoring homeowners that yell, beat on pans, or fire guns over their heads while the bears pilfer the garbage, feeders, and whatever other mischief bears do.
