Purchase 5-#50 bags fertilizer 3-40# grass seed that was quick almost $400. :shocked:
This little critter seems to always knows if I have good snack name No Tail for he/she doesn't have tail.
Not much plan for this evening...home style country dinner,watch old movie share bowl ice cream with the kittens.

Maybe I’ll suck it up and buy new fluid and change both HST filters and fluid. Then I can destroy the filters with no fluid to leak out. Don’t need to change the HST one for another 200 hrs, for me that will be another 5 years.
Problem is it looks like the HST filter is blocked by the backhoe subframe.

Look at end of filter away from tractor. Turn CCW.

BEF, regarding tight filter, I’d say I’ve destroyed too many as I eventually reach the point that I’m getting it off no matter what. Sometimes that has been a large pair of channel lock pliers, other a screw driven thru the carcass.

Been a warm cloudy day, but now the sun is shining brightly, came outside as we took our afternoon walk around the property with Gracie.
Got the front deck post top lights on, just leaves the small back deck. You could read on the main deck last night, maybe too bright. I’ve swapped way too many lights the last couple of days.
Had catfish, corn on the cob and fresh maters for dinner.

If that’s the L5030 it should not be blocked by the BH 90 subframe. The lefty/righty thing does get messed up if you’re behind and upside down.

This is on the L3940 with the BH frame. But you bring up a good point, the L5030 at the farm is probably way over due on the HST filter changes. I got dad doing the oil changes, but never mentioned the HST. That tractor got used a whole lot more than the L3940, but not as much now since he sold the cows.

Last week he ran over a deer antler that flattened a front tire. One of the guys that hunts on dad took it into a tire shop, patched it up for $17.

Good evening to all !
The trip to Costco this morning was uneventful, hardly anyone there, no wait in any line , including the checkout. My son picked up everything he wanted.
Nice day today outside, So I got a chance to work on the next project.
I had a bunch of the prep work done (precutting pieces and staining), so assembly so far was real easy. Tomorrow I need to pick up some fascia board materials, then the metal roof can go on.

Here are some pics of the porch roof assembly. The 4 posts are the ones I got at Lowes for a total of $14 dollars... yes $14. So, had to find a project to use them on.
