I went out and took some pics of the shop... I know I needed proof that it happened! All this reorganization just affirmed that I need a bigger shop!

Very well organized.
You need several more shops.

Yours reminds me of my 15'x15' basement shop.

I added HF and I've just about filled over 5,000 sq ft.

Nice looking bluebird. I never see hem up here.

BH is on and it only took the two of us 30 minutes this time. A far cry from the 2 hours last year. I got most of the snow piles that came off the roof moved away from the foundation of the house.

I just took a peak at the weather for the next week...The powers that be are calling for T-storms tomorrow and rain for all week. Monday through next Friday.

I think Monday I will take the hood off and see what I can do about the exhaust stack.

My plans for the downed wood have changed. A young buck and his buddy showed up and actually asked permission to cut and harvest the wood. Not only that they will cut some unmanageable rounds as well and cut some cordwood up for me. Ah too be 28 and healthyagain "rolleyes:

Little bit of excitement here this morning. Muffin (my avatar) decided to go for a long walk. She is blind. Took me about 1 1/2 hours to find her. After walking around my place and closest neighbors places. I got golf cart out and went looking for her along county road. Happen to see a tiny white spot behind one of the houses. Drove up their driveway. Nothing. Decided to walkout to back of their large backyard. There she was in a little low spot. Still looking for the way home. Got her home, dried and warmed up. I am ready to conserve energy rest of the day.

So glad you found her. I know you were in a panic.

Be careful with that arrangement, Jay. Right after I bought this place, I advertised in Craig's list for someone to come and salvage firewood from all the huge burn piles that had been left when the lot was cleared. I got several responses warning me that if any of the woodcutters were injured, I'd be liable for their medical costs. I eventually allowed one man and his wife access, and they became good friends. They were also very careful not to hurt themselves...

Reminds me of my garage, Ted. I spend a lot of time moving one or two machines out of the way to get anything done, and even more time walking sideways to get through some of the tight spaces. You still have a LOT of room on those pegboards; just move the pegs closer together!

But now that your son is all trained up in the building trade, when are you going to tell him his next big project is building you a nice shop building?:laughing:

Liability did cross my mind RNG. These guys seem pretty cautious with their cutting. I remember being 28, invincible, and invulnerable. We'll see. There was no handshake to seal the deal

Working in my barn is like a slide puzzle. Have to shuffle stuff around to make room.
I did bring 2 bags of pellets to house with the ranger. I really need to load a truckload of stuff and take to recycle or the dump. And sell some stuff, like a 2 seat go kart and a truck cap that take a lot of space. So does 2 old oil tanks.

BIL still hasn’t heard c19 results. It was sent to Georgia for processing. He is on oxygen. They won’t test my sister till his results. She has sore throat for a week and some cough.

Thunderstorms this morning. 54° and overcast.

I order a mouse on amazon for working at home, was out for delivery by Usps last Saturday, and never got it. Tracking says it was out for delivery and is being rerouted. No update on tracking since last Saturday. No additional info on USPS tracking.

40F-50F today, cloudy with brisk wind.. cold outside if you don't block the wind.. thought I would work on a tree by the mailbox, figured battery powered oscillating saw would do it but no sharp blades on hand.. so got out the pole saw and took a half dozen large branches off before I was winded and cold.. sweating but cold.. decided that was enough for one day.. I am out of shape so no surprise there.

Our transfer stations (dumps) are too busy they say... please limit your trips.. but so many people are home and cleaning up yards and garages and other..
