The freezing precipitation finally changed over to all snow. It's getting pretty loud out in the woods with the increasing wind messing with the ice and now snow-loading tree limbs. It looks like ~1" has fallen so far. This is one powerful storm and it's still winding up.

Dave's brisket reads like great eats. I have a locally smoked brisket in the freezer. I can make great ribs, but decent brisket still eludes me and now I have a great source.

31F snowing.
Been ho hum day cause by the weather,this morning freezing rain late morning rain 1:30pm quick change to snow over inch an hour,decided to plow off what slop and snow I could before the teen temps arrive tonight,now the wind rocking the trees snowing even harder looks like my burn piles are going to larger.
Not sure what plans for this evening but one thing for sure not leaving driveway.

Switched over about 1:30 here a bit over 6" so far, went out and scrapped water logged slop and snow for 2 hours.
Will finish tomorrow and clean of the sand pile and sander and spread some sand.

We got around a 1/4" of ice on everything, lot of places losing power.

Apart from on distant hills, we haven't seen any snow yet this year. Always enjoy seeing pictures of a good snowfall, if anyone has the time to take a pic after all that ploughing/blowing and feeding the huskies.

Don, I have used online Deluxe for a few years. Has worked well until this year. Just add your data as the program ask for it. It actually worked well this year. I think my problem is with IRS and filing for a person that has died. I got a person to go over my returns next week.

Looking, I use the picture icon at top of window for writing a post to load my pictures. When you click on it. There are 2 choices. One is looking for a URL. The other one is computer. This allows you to browse you computer for the files. I save the pictures that I want post on desktop. Makes them easy to find. After you have selected the file you will need to click on upload. That should be all you need to do.

Looks like I am going to need a new battery for tractor. Very sluggish starting today. First battery lasted 12 years. This one is only 8 years old.

Ron, got that beef stew cooking in the IP. I doubled it for 6 qt. Wife cut up meat and veggies. Except onion, which I didn’t know till it was time to add them, so wife used some frozen cut onion she had.

Need to freezer shop sometime. Any recommendations? Fortunately we didn’t have a half beef in there, been a few years since we bought a half.
We put corn on cob in ice tray of freezer. Will eat some tonight.

Still windy on way home, several accidents to detour. Saw there was several tornado damage areas, including a barn blown down, all in line with what I saw this morning. On way home saw more trees down than what I saw in am.

Think I drove thru a small tornado, or close to one. Car was really getting pushed around with wind and sideways rain. Then I got on Interstate and traffic stopped, get to front and there痴 a row of trees down beside the road and 2 trees down into the middle lane , across the road tops were broken from trees.
Very heavy rain at times.

And still stealth cars, white cars in a rainstorm and no lights. Morons

Glad you made it safely. Heard there was a tornado in Loudon County. We had a strong thunderstorm, then beautiful rainbow in the western sky around 9am, which is rare.

Good evening!

We didn稚 get much stirm. A bit of wind, small amount of ice, maybe 1 of snow. Temperature has been 27 all day.

Wife was headed to work this morning, left early, was being sensible, got passed by a SUV at high speed that was not exactly going straight. About a mile further down the road.....the same SUV was sitting front end into the guard rail. She estimated the SUV took out 20 yards of guard rail before it came to a stop. Not a light on and no movement. Neither of us heard anything on the news about any serious injuries....so I am guessing the driver of the SUV hit the trifecta in stupid.....this little crash hurt mentally, physically, and mentally.

It still amazes me that people drive fast in these conditions. You can drive fast, but you can稚 turn and you can稚 stop.

It was the biggest storm that winter, with about 21-24 inches total,
starting somewhat wet and then fluffy for the last 6-8 inches.
Sure was glad to have the big blower on the tractor instead of
having to clear it with just the 26" walk-behind Ariens.

Good evening all. 30F for the start, partly cloudy, calm wind. Moderate wind with some brisk gusts, partly cloudy sky and high temp was 56F. Whole lot of rain in forecast, may have to set up stationary trainer :thumbdown: Slow morning, stock fire and putter, afternoon bike ride, then was supposed to work on friend's bike but he had to scratch last minute. No nap today.

RNG where's the video camera when you need it! good luck moving generator when pad done. What was your first thought when you made round trip and no CEL? It is my understanding you can efile yourself, but it is a complicated process, we pay accountant to do taxes and they efile for small fee, I think Uncle Sam gets that.
RNG, u2 still in use, just not for spying. Lot of uses for overhead pics.
