Googled it, that would be nice to have.... I do not think I would be able to get it where I wanted it though.... neat truck!

Some of the areas had basically no stone, so they got 5-6 inches, majority got 2-3 inches, other spots just about an inch tapering to nothing.

The operator can put it EXACTLY where you want it at whatever depth. They can stand 20 feet away from the truck with belt mounted remote control and place soil or aggregate products right at their feet.

A lot of customers have product delivered anyway so they may as well have the product “placed “ for a few bucks more. Very cost effective.

In my area I would guess the ratio is 2 slingers for every 6 traditional dump trucks on the road.

Hello, my name is Ted, I have an addiction...... it all started with just a little bit of gravel in the walkway..... then I could not stop myself....
More for the driveway.... then more walkways... now more in the driveway...... I have an addiction....

Thanks, Eric. I will attempt to get some help....:cool2:

You know you have a problem if you bring some inside and place on your pillow at night...right, Eric?

Wow, I have never seen one out here! Did construction for about 15 years, that would have come in handy for sure!

Billy, I have woken up in the middle of the night and found very small stones in the bed.....

Ron, sorry to hear you might have an ulcer. Hope not.

...and congrats on becoming a granddad to that big hunk of horsepower. Driving it at Charlotte sounds pretty cool.

Good evening all. 32F for the start, high clouds, light wind. Wind took most of the day to become moderate, Cloud thicken and lowered, and the high for the day was 46F. Day started with cleaning lady prep, but she is not showing till Thursday,. Went to POA Board meeting recap, 3.5 hour board meeting condensed to 1:40 . Bike ride after lunch, then start fire in inset, then nap :). Last job of day fill the wood wagon.
Buckeye, do hope the Dr can get a handle on FIL health issues.
Rick where can I find a dermatologist like that?
David glad Sophia's molar extraction went well, sorry about the clinic experience, if my heart Dr wants to put me on a pace maker again I am dumping him!
Roy, the poo test gets both false positive and false negatives. without a discussion of what can help the accuracy of the test, it would be difficult to trust the results, plus during colonoscopy, can biopsy right then. 900 lumens, my bicycle headlight only has 500
Drew good to see further improvement. Hope you can get orchard sprayed.
Eric, that was good!
RNG I have seen Pink Floyd on Axs, but I think it was wish you were here album. Sorry about firewood pallet. Have you tried pulling plug to see if it is wet after starting attempt?
Ron wished he lived closer too :)
Don nice work by your group to get a 98% acceptance rate!
Ted the first step is admitting addiction ...
Don't do it RNG, you know better, beside how many bike would you have to sell? repeat after me finish the van... finish the van... :D
PJ have had more than one short night because of programing projects not work related :D
Jay thanks for the "insights" on Ted's gravel problem.
Ted thanks for the before and after pics and being so good natured about the gravel issue.
prayers for all.

Pretty good day.
Got some mowing in. Mostly with the Craftsman.
Even got the backhoe off tractor and once around perimeter with flail.
Wife healing well. I made her a shrimp curry smoothie for dinner.
Wife’s sister still in ICU recovering from her heart valve surgery on Fri. She had open heart due to her small size. Recovery slow as some swelling where they had to enlarge area for the valve. Spirits good.

21 right now...a lot nicer then the -7 we had this time yesterday! High about 30 today.

Mostly_gas...thanks for the info about the "poo" test. I'm going to try it, I guess...see what happens. The doctor didn't say anything about the possible erroneous results.

Good morning,
temp here is 25°F and going to a high of 30. Wind SW 20 gusting to 25 mph. 40% chance of flurries.

Today is an energy conservation day.

I do have 3 widowmakers that need to come down. I think I will wait until spring and hire that out. All three are threatening the shed.

Have a safe day all

Good morning. 9 now, supposed to get to 39 today. Lots of moisture of assorted types starting Friday to Sunday.

Been a slow week at work, except for auction specials......people want to buy a 25 year old machine at an auction and expect to fix 25 years of abuse and lousy repairs for free......

Everyone have a safe and good day.

Son clarified that it will be Fords GT 500 on the track.

Coffee is done brewing. 19° with some clouds this morning. Heading to 33° with mix of sun and clouds. Slept in this morning. No plans for today. I am sure something will show up.

David, glad Sophie's dental visit went well. You must be way behind on field cutting with all the rain.

Happy Birthday Mrs Buppies. Prayers for SIL.

Hope everyone is healing and staying safe.

Good Morning All.

19 and only a slight breeze felt when I went outside at 6am to see if I could see the owl that was pretending to be a rooster near our house. Looking for 42.

Happy Birthday today to Mrs Buppies!

RNG, looks like the original backseat...brings back great memories, and some expensive repair memories, too. What year? 1972?

DIF, nice saw. I've never used one that big.

I took Coco to the vet yesterday, and stopped for a nice hike on the way home...funny how sub-freezing temps gives such a boost in energy. Then got home and surveyed a very tall tuliptree back near the creek that I noticed in the summer had died. When I got up close, I could see the splintering associated with a lightning strike. I'm a little nervous about taking it down, but will try today. Roasted some beans from Ethiopia that are very nice in this cup...100th roast on my "new" roaster.

Good morning. A frost free start for a change, with a fog that despite almost no wind, keeps on rolling around into every nook and cranny. Firewood 10' in from the roof overhang is wet to the touch :confused3:

Time to finish my late breakfast and check the mole traps. I'm about to make a start on that field where I showed the picture of all the mole hills. So far I have removed 16 from the 2 adjacent fields.

RNG, the North Star method is a great way to find where you are, better than 1 degree accuracy - on a clear night. Just remember to rotate the solar panels the extra 180 degrees ;)

... and place on your pillow at night...right, Eric?

:ashamed: Why oh why did I do that dare. The good news is that I checked the dictionary and the Mcnaught K32 thing is more of an infatuation than an addiction. :)

LS, you used all that gravel in one day  This talk about switching to woodwork sounds like you may be in denial, take care as before long you will be out with a rake, smoothing out hollows and high spots that are imperceptible to others, all the time dreaming of "just one more load" ...
