19F this morning, a few more inches of snow over night. Supposed to stay cold (single digits at night) this week.

Bought a video converter to convert my Sony camcoder tapes to digital, need to get it setup and tested one evening this week (before return period runs out). Did that project years ago, but never finished it, so plan on doing it over and getting the videos on DVD finally. Depending on how many we end up with, might even make a set for each of the kids.

Stay safe, prayers for all

Then save them as mp4 videos. I converted all of mine to dvd, and some won’t play.

I use Corel video studio. I think you can stream it direct and avoid the dvd step.

41 with light rain tonight clear in the 40's tomorrow weather folks say temp drop on Friday and weekend snow and ice.
Took my wife to see her mom today then did a few chores around the house and played with the dogs.
January 2,1988 was one of the days in my career that I will never forget. In the early morning hours a new born baby boy was found abandoned wrapped in a blanket lying at the base of a tree frozen to death. At the time not knowing of any family we as at the department "adopted" and named the baby David Paul and gave him a proper burial and every year on his birthday for the last 32 years have held a memorial at his grave sight. Today 32 years later thanks to new DNA technology his mother has been identified and located. A cold case that has never been closed and now David Paul can rest in peace.
RNG and Jay good advice on checking for good hydration, I always have a water bottle in reach, also I'll add on those hot days when you reach for that water cool water does more for you to cool you down than ice cold. Think about that ice cold beer you drink it goes right through you ice water will do the same and not do much to help hydrate.

So if you own a company, and an employee does something illegal and you as the owner didn’t know, would you want to lose your business because of it?

It will take a long time for them to recover as is.
Buckeye I need to agree with Randy on this. If a company employee is doing something illegal that you and your company bennefit then yes.

Other than having to live with herself nothing as the statute of limitations is 20 years. She told the detectives who went to her home she has waited for the knock on her door for 32 years. She was at the time a very young girl who his her pregnancy from family, friends and even the father. Delivered on her own and didn't know what to do.

Actually what they did was not illegal, as in the sense of breaking a law. They broke the rules of a game.

It happens every day, mechanic screws up on a brake job, company is sued and pays the price. It痴 hard to believe that went on, on that scale and the owner had no clue. But of course he is the commissioner痴 boss so you can only expect so much discipline.

Good evening all. 55F for the start, overcast, calm wind. Overcast till 3, then transition to mostly sunny, light wind, moderate gusts at times, high temp was 66F. Morning fog did not appear as forecast, put batteries in boat, and took stepdaughters boyfriend fishing, no bites :(. Came home went for bike ride, no nap.
Billy sounds like an interesting day.
Ok Randy, I have dyslexic fingers :confused3:
Ron, the fenders work best when rubber side is down
Eric I still have my depth mike from work, I try and maintain .020 to .025 depth of cut.
RNG, good news on the trenching, I have better luck with ORiley's life time parts than AutoZone.
Ted hope trip to town went well.
Jay hope it stays all snow for you. Does it matter which direction you pinch the back of your hand?
David, hope Sophie's root canal went ok.
Drew hope you can get hydrated and ear not get worse.
DABSGT, such a sad story, not surprising young unwed mother hiding pregnancy.
Randy, are MLB baseball teams cash rich or cash poor?
