Are your friends expecting a major rain event in the near future?

Are they animal friendly?

And here I am wondering about a snowstorm this coming weekend; maybe I should check on my sailboat instead.

Could say the event is ongoing. 9 days and counting.

thanks for the concern guys. Played phone tag with endicrinologist today, never connected, left message about parathyroid.
this just doesn't get any better. Latest labs said I now have a liver disorder, being referred to yet another specialist.
Constantly hot and cold, temp this morning was 97.3, getting a swab for flu tomorrow if only to rule it out.
spending most of day in bed, had to go to drug store for strongest OTC anti nausea they had.
this isn't looking good for friday trip. And if I don't go I lose a thousand dollars in non refundable
deposits, adding insult to injury.
Lot of rain and thunder today

Wish the news was better, Drew. Thanks for letting us know you're still alive and kicking.

The Medical Industrial Complex, in my experience at least, can be very difficult to deal with, even for someone with all their marbles. Not looking forward to what happens when I go off my rocker, but by then, maybe I won't care?:confused2:

Glad to hear from you Drew. Hope your Endocrinologist gets back with you and comes up with a plan to check you out.

Drew, I had symptoms for 8 weeks like you describe, in 2013, mine was low sodium. Couldn’t keep food down, flu type symptoms. Lost a bunch of weight, finally spent three days on a sodium drip.

I think I will sleep better tonight. Endicrinologist earned his pay, diagnosed i did not have primary thyroid problems but I sure was seriously dehydrated, most likely from powerful dieuretics prescribed for my Meniere's disease middle ear fluid levels. Which I think it does poorly. I looked it up today and here is says its primary function was for high blood pressure, which I don't have, so no wonder a strong dieuretic is causing issues, and he suggested after calling ENT, to stop taking medicine for awhile Dehydration was messing up my liver functions too. So, increasing water intake by at least two glasses a day. Not like the menierere's medicine was working all the well anyway.

The ENT is with the next hospital chain down and clearly the two chains don't share info or communication platforms.

It makes me scratch my head when the primary use for a drug is to reduce blood presssure and you give it to someone who doesn't need that help, no warnings at all...

and again, super low sodium diet required for Meniere's treatment. Thanks Randy, I'll bring that up tomorrow at primary doc.
