Still 66° with 6-10 mph winds. Rain hits midnight till 5 am.
Leave at 700 am to take son to airport. He hasn’t packed yet, so I left some spare in the schedule knowing we will leave a little late.

Glad Looking got the snow.

It’s supposed to be 34° here in the morning so ... I’m thinking this is good timing for some CN Soup.

After consuming two huge bowls of soup I cooked more noodles in three cups of water with 3 chicken bouillon cubes, added to the IP pot and it’s full again.

Good evening all. 27F for the low, overcast, mixed winter precip, changing to snow. Breezy most of the day, sun peeked through about noon, high temp for the day was 40F. Started fire in insert quickly this morning, not much else going on with the cold temps outside. Watched some football but Chiefs are really the only team I am rooting for. Went over to stepdaughter's for chilli, water still over the road at LW#2, maybe 4 inches deep.
Drew I think you are right about the weather guys.
RNG hope you don't have to make the trench longer, hope the solar project goes well.
Ted, water was not deep enough to affect my area, sometimes people don't have their boats properly secured in hoist and leave the dock :confused2: Hope you digestion is better.
Bird, did you know a Bill Parish? He is my neighbor and has some time on the DPD.

Oh man are they good. I made my rice on the sticky side (I like it that way). I used cayenne too. Maybe only 1 teaspoon, plus the black pepper.

Who's rooting for who on these playoff games? Or is that a dangerous question....

I知 just glad to see the Ravens getting smoked. The Eagles and Patriots gone are another reason to cheer, I guess out of those left, maybe the Packers would be my choice.

I got my storm, YES!

Snow coming, about 8" on top of the inch we got today before it is over late tomorrow morning I should get to plow about 10" or so depending on drifting. Seat time!

jbrumberg; you mention pressure cooker and I immediately think of still.

I was raised in snow country, Bill, and couldn't wait to get the heck outta there. But if forced to return, I'd hope to heck a guy like you was a very close neighbor!:thumbsup:

61 high of 64 still breezy big storms missed us last night but big wind did not one inch of rain yesterday still raining but light

Football was good no real team to pull for so I will just take it as it comes

Did not sleep well at all feel on slippery wet steps side I fell on very sore and cramps severely if I lay down then it’s like getting the breath knocked out of you.i haven’t done this in a long time. Sitting in chair tolerable

Cold weather may reappear by 24 of the month storms too we shall see

1°F and going to a high of 12. Wind NNE 16 gusting to 34 mph. Snow and blowing snow. Wind will increase to gusts of 50 mph.
It doesn't look like we got the almost 8" they forecast, at least not from the kitchen window. I will go out and plow what is there anyway.

RNG, two things I like about winter are NO BUGS and if it wasn't for plowing snow I would be sat in the house getting fat and lazy. A couple of winters ago, the weather was looking like an early spring, then the bottom dropped out of the thermometer and the temps plummeted to -40 and stayed there for a week. The bugs were just starting to hatch out. Killed almost all of the black flies and a good amount of the mosquitoes. This was a good thing.

Morning all!
Meds appear to be making progress. I have no more gout symptoms and have been treating the reflux issues with meds and a strict diet.
As far as triggers go-I don't eat most of the gout inducers at all. That's what has the doctors stumped. Beef and seafood or organ meat are maybe eaten once a year.
Dropped the steroids to only one a day as directed by the doctor and some of the symptoms went away. BP seems to be staying at a good number.
Heavy wind and rain here today but a high of 60 should make it feel ok. Plunging back into the cold in the later part of the week.
Buppies I hope you didn't hurt anything to bad and can heal and get some sleep.
Rick and Jay that soup and pizza sound mighty good to me!
