Ron, yes, I think so. More importantly, it keeps the rain out. We very rarely use the AC, prefer to open the windows and moon roof.

Wow can’t believe how much activity goes on here!!!

You all have some great pics from the sky to the snow piles and the lights in the tractor shed is great!

Hope everyone is safe and has a good day.

Good Morning to all,

I got the road squared away with the Grader/Scraper (GS), actually fun to use.

We've had a light rain since last night and a little heavier down pours for the last 30 minutes; wondering just how much mud we will end up with.

I'm worried what I did with the GS will create MUD, MUD, and more MUD, should have graded the road during the summer months !
compatible base won't be here for a few days, IF he can get in to my place.

Temps are in the low 50s, raining heavy at times, and going to the high 60s, not worried about snow but the rain thing can be a problem.

Hope all will have a good day !

A cloudy 21ºF for today’s low; a cloudy 35ºF presently which may become today’s high temperature. The snow drifted +2’ on my deck. I spent all morning shoveling it; some muscle groups are already complaining; and I still need to do some roof raking.

Randy- I am already putting out the + thoughts and prayers for your pending surgery.

BEF- Congratulations on your graduation from PT.

Bruce- I am sorry to read about your dinger. :(

Roy- Good luck tomorrow.

Billy- Thanks. I’ve had ~ 40 years of snow management experience here. It usually takes me +/- 2 hours seat time to manage each snow event.

And Thomas yes I did get leg cramps after plowing system #1’s 12”.; thankfully not after plowing the 6.5”

“… Requires I take a couple of moments to make sure I am stable before trying to walk. I think it is a side effect of the blood pressure pill I take or old age.”- RonJH I can relate.

“…. ALWAYS, ALWAYS WEAR YOUR SEAT BELT AND MAKE SURE THE ROLL OVER PROTECTION BAR IS FIXED IN THE UPRIGHT POSITION.”- Drew. SOP around here. Your BIL is one lucky operator. I wish him well on the shoulder surgery.

Bill- Good luck with your new chair. I hope you have many comfortable years together.

RNG- I like your mood picture. Kicking back to a nice fire with a couple of fingers of fire water works for me.

Grev- Good luck with the road project.

My + thoughts and prayers.

My Dr was amazed that I was going back to work next week. He asked are you sure you’re ready? I’m not using the cane anymore and they kicked me out of PT.

Ate lunch at Cheesecake Factory.

But then there's folks like the railroader I bought my touring bike from, who was out on a week long trip with no email access until he got back.

Reminds me of the summer I spent working in my brother's tire dealership and garage in Anchorage. I had a guy come in who owned an old Chevrolet with the hydroboost brake system. It was working, but he was "restoring" the old car and wanted a new hydroboost unit. There was not one to be had in Anchorage, but I told him I could order it, if he wished, and have it in about a week. Well, he paid for it right then in cash, and away he went. A week or more when by, the unit came, but I had no name or address for my buyer. After about a month, I had given up on the guy, but of course did not return the unit since it was paid for. And sure enough, he showed up one day, had gotten called out on a job way out in the wilderness with no phone. He was happy to get the unit, and even though we had our money for it in advance, I was happy to see him.

I could tell from your photo, Jay, that it wasn't your first rodeo. But 40 years! May we all be so lucky as to spend so much time in one place!
