The next knee replacement surgery is supposed to be done with a nerve block and I値l be awake.... I知 not sure if I will like that approach. To me it痴 a more complicated surgery...why do they want me awake? I really don稚 want to hear that bone saw going.... maybe high dose nitrous oxide?

My last knee surgery I had a nerve block AND general anesthesia. I would request both. There is no pain when you wake up from the anesthesia but be prepared when the nerve block wears off with some pain meds. From what I remember it was hours after I got home before the block woke up. I think they last for 10-12 hours.

Yard lights are up for the year, and insurance adjuster and body shop have communicated. Everything is going really smooth. The carless driver was very apologetic, I photographed her insurance card and drivers license and both vehicles with my phone. When I filed the claim every question could be answered with the pics I took. The rear collision caused a non-repairable crease in my plastic bumper so the bumper needs to be replaced.

Drew, it sounds like your volunteer was just the opposite of my phone lady. There are a lot of "downsized" nice trucks to choose from this year. If you look at a Ranger look at the Lariat.

I took a look at the stove problem, it is not a plugged orifice, the flame was fine on both the thermocouple and thermopile. We'll see how it runs (I did run pipe cleaner through the pilot orifices).

CarPlay also requires your phone, that’s how it works, your phones apps are displayed on the head unit.

Good evening all. 37F for the start, high thin clouds, light wind. Wind was light today, high thin clouds, and high temp of 65F. Putter till Scooter got dropped off. Back in Scooter sitting mode till Friday. Trip to town for groceries, lunch and errand for stepdaughter. Bike ride, no nap again or leaf pickup. Got Scooter walked with no issues

Hawkeye, battery quitting early is common in the lithium batteries. my mp3 player is doing the same, worse no weather is cooler, only 6th year of operation.
Scooter is requesting a constitutional before bed.

Ted- Thanks. I had a nerve block when my shattered ankle got some hardware (2 pins, 1 plate, 6 screws). I was awake throughout the procedure talking to the anesthesiologist. The used castellated screws and used a standard portable drill like one would find in a hardware store. They would not let me watch. ..

I had an epidural when I tore my Achilles tendon. Spent the time talking to the anesthesiologist while listening to a local football game on his radio. Doctors on the other end carved me up, sewed the ends of the tendon together and stitched me up again. Never felt a thing. "no brain--no pain" then 6 weeks in plaster.

Installed my Weathertech window deflectors on the Ridgeline, both front and rear.
Also installed a solar powered motion sensor light in tractorshed.
Otherwise, an easy day.
