DEF indicator on rv was showing half full, cheapskates didn't fill it up on delivery...so I bought some no name Louisiana made DEF at Napa this morning
and it took the whole 2 1/2 gallons. Indicator then showed a happy full. I believe it burped... 6 gallons will last me a long time.
Put the smart charger on the big Massey and it went green in under three seconds. That tells me it certainly is charging when running. While I was there I cleaned up the engine comp't with a rag soaked in Napa Protectant and it all looked good when done. Then I took off the charger, not much desulphating in that time period but battery is still pretty new. I go around and charge up everything before the winter, lots of equipment that sits going nowhere until Spring.
Fiddled with a few other things and now forcing myself to sit and do paperwork. Starting with ordering a Jackson & Perkins amaryllis for my MIL, which she gets each year.
I used to send a lot of flowers for xmas, now I send Florida citrus. But my MIL can't eat all that so she has always gotten her amaryllis and then given me a full report on its progress. And then I have to pick a fabric for the rv valences, that is long overdue, I've been dodging it because reaction was not positive, but maybe I'll just stick with my gut on this. My late wife was so good at this, I was blessed.
I think I'll order the material and have SIL make a test valence and let me put it up in the rv to see. These are very small cardboard backed valences that pull off the wall by velcro. Maybe four inches by 14 inches. So can't be a big pattern, that much I knew. So I went with something bright, light and with dashes of color, one being the beige/brown of existing woodwork, which hopefully will tie it in. Worst case we'll just cover it over again. My SIL is thankfully very good at this.
But I have to pick it out.
