Thankful to hear that she's just banged up and not all broken up. It could have easily been much worse.
Eric, I wish I had 5 pairs of mating swans in our pond. I don't believe it's cold enough here for them. I always get a jump when watching the blue Angels flying in formation and the leader sneaks up and flies right over your head at near the speed of sound....

Don't care much for cold weather, though it seems almost warm on the 1 day in 10 years that it snows here.

I don't recall exactly. My insurance does not cover the exam or glasses and the complete exam I think was around $150.
Her office is next to the eye masters in Barton Creek Mall. Her name is Jorden. The pictures show every little blood vessel in the eye, I feel like it's worth it. I had my eyes dilated once in Houston, that was enough of that antiquated way. My eyesight has not improved but a neighbors daughter who is plant based and my wife who is also plant based their vision has improved. Of course a group of three does not make a study, but if it did, that would be pretty good odds.

good evening all. 52F for the start,overcast and fog, calm wind. Wind stayed light, overcast, fog, and drizzle pretty much all day, high temp 57F. Hung loose until time to go to town, dropped explorer for recall at dealer, got haircut shopped for groceries, picked up wife at beauty parlor. was going to ride but drizzle restarted, bit cool to ride in wet 
. Did get voting in.

It levels itself, within a reasonable range. It comes with a tripod, and each leg is adjustable. On initial setup, I watch the head as it self levels, and if it gets too far out of wack, adjust the legs to compensate. It's pretty slick. I'll try to get some pics tomorrow, as it looks pretty spacey inside the darkened container...

Birthday boy spent 3 hrs on phone with us. Then he called again at 1 am with course registration issues for next spring courses.

Good morning all. I can understand why I see adds popping up on my laptop after everyone starts discussing something like a new car or Instant Pot, but no way can I explain the "coincidence" of half the Good morning crew talking about eye exams and then me getting a letter the same day calling me in for one too ! :confused2:
Roy, glad your stepdaughter was not more seriously injured and hope she makes a full recovery. She must be thinking how much worse it could have been if it happened on the return trip from school with her daughter alongside her.
