Drinking second cup of coffee. 45° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 68° mostly sunny skies. Mow lawn today. Need to rest from yesterday project. Then Sassy has been invited to a Grand Opening of a new dog grooming salon. NASCAR after that.

Good pictures from all.

David, I replaced with aluminum wire. Copper was over $100 for 35'. Aluminum was $27. Should last me until I decide to get rid of this place. I sure like my whole house generator. Had it for 15 years now. Sure came in to good use when Betty was on oxygen this summer and power went out. Is this unit replacing the diesel one you sold.

Drew, glad trip is going good.

Buckeye, I need to do a steam train ride. Hope to get one on the Polar Express in Owasso, MI. Betty and I had planned to do this.

Buppies, new truck? Pictures.

Kyle, nice chair upholstery job.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

made quick trip to local Giant food store, wow, what a palace compared to home.
Bought some prepared cobb salad and other easy heat food, just in case stopping for lunch isn't convenient.
though I expect I'll bring a lot of food home tomorrow from Amish market.

My love affair with Toyotas ended after they recalled my Tacoma which failed on 13 points of the frame. I did get my brand new Tundra for $13K with the 鍍rade; (I got 150% of blue book value).

At 99,000+ miles, Toyota replaced the heads on my '88 4x4 pickup, free. I bought a '99 4Runner, never had a problem with it in 60K miles, but never really liked it as a daily driver, either. Then while settling mom's boyfriend's estate, found his '90s era Tacoma frame rails rusted so badly, the bottom inch of each was GONE from behind the driver's seat all the way back to the rear shock mount. I found records where he'd had it at the dealer for recall work TWICE, and learned that Toyota had been sued twice via class action, but neither covered his truck. We got $3K for it at auction, as the local Toyota dealer would do nothing to make it right. No more Toyota for me, either.

I sure was relieved to see a picture my neighbor sent me of my rv surge protector
hanging from the house wall outlet like nothing had happened, no damage, got very lucky.

Apple used to use very clever magnetic couplers on the laptop power cords, and I can't count the number of times they have saved me trips to the store for repairs or a new charger. I wonder if something like that is available for 110V extension cords?

Sure glad your little oops didn't turn into an expensive big OOPs, Drew. It's exactly the sort of thing I would do.:confused2:

Good morning to all! Low went down to 32, high should be around 64, but windy as another cold front comes across. There is a chance of snow north of here close to the CO border.

Between BEF and Drew, I realized how much I really miss Bucks County and the Lancaster area. Maybe I should plan a "Head East not so young man"......

Nice to hear your trip is going well Drew, be safe. The last time we went out in the travel trailer, wifey planned out meals for each day, had them all packaged up nicely for easy preparation. I didn't think it was enough.....we came home with about half of them. Just didn't eat as much as we thought we would.

Ron, Sassy is just TOO CUTE! She does have that devious look in her eyes wearing that costume....

Buppies, CONGRATULATIONS on the new truck! Looks very nice! Enjoy!

David, nice gen set. How many Kw is it? The LS didn't seem to mind moving it at all!

Kyle, nice upholstery job! You should be receiving our chairs towards the end of the week with a sample of the new upholstery......:D:thumbsup:

Today is errand day.... Just a few, but have to drive about an hour each way to get them done. Shouldn't be too bad.

Then get those doors hung in place. Got two coats of paint on them yesterday, at least I was able to sit and roll around on my shop stool while painting them. Took a bit longer that way, but I wouldn't be able to stand that long in one spot. Son was a big help moving them around for me. He'll carry them in for me today and hold them in place for me. I'll post pics when they are done.

Everyone have a great day! Prayers sent for all!
