Been outside chasing skunks...not too smart, eh? Cut on spotlight, saw one in the front yard, by the time I got out there it was gone...searched all over creation with my flashlight only to find it had started up the driveway in the other direction...followed it to see a second and then a third join it from the bushes near the road. I kept going...they were running at a pretty good pace and I was hobbling due to a foot injury until they crossed the road and headed across a fresh cut hay field towards a neighbors house. I never had a safe shot. They are pretty cool animals if they didn't stink and spread rabies so much.

Then I let Coco out.

Outdoors/hunting show was a bust. Couldn't get anywhere near it...people parked up over the curb along the approach road and completely filled the Home Depot parking lot a half mile away. My foot hurt too much to walk that far. Not going meant I was 2 hours too early for the Car Classic, too. So just went inside and picked up a Dokken for Coco and some 9mm ammo...had a gift card I wanted to use up.

Coffee is done brewing. 58° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 66° with sun in PM. Got rain overnight. But not enough to register on gauge. Got both fields cut yesterday. Took almost 5 hours. 3 of my neighbors stopped me to talk about current events. Slowed down on my cuts like Buckeye did at his place. Almost looks like a lawn now. Going to visit my Aunt in Port Huron today. She fell again and broke her knee.

Buckeye, hope the nerve pain goes away soon.

Wngsprd, hope your foot gets better.

Don, unless it’s changed in the last twenty years, about 3/4 of refrigerators are made by the same company and only the badge on the front distinguished them. My mom bought a new one from a furniture wholesale friend of ours and it didn’t have name, just two little push in grab nuts. Mom called him about it and he told her to stop by and pick up the name she wanted. She went with Frigidaire because of past experience. LOL
She could have had Amana, GE, Kenmore, Electrolux, Philco, Westinghouse, etc...

I have nerve pain every night, some are just worse. Last night was ok.

Friend of mine , young kid in EE at WVU got engaged yesterday, on the football field after the game. They are moving to Auburn Hills MI in may. She got a job at chrysler.

Cooler Fall weather, low sixties now going up to high 70's in clouds. Rain working its way across the state, should get here tomorrow
which will be welcome.
I have no plans for today other than picking okra and trying to get paintings/prints to stick to the walls in the rv. Tried with two different
adhesive strips, and both have failed. Must be something oily/slippery in plastic wall covering, which is too thin to use screws on. Need to research further.

Have you tried 3M Command Strips. Be sure to clean surface with alcohol. I get the 90% from Walmart.

38F gusty wind at times upper 50's for high rain arriving early evening.

Outside chores are done time for E muffin. :licking:
Not much plan for today other than wheel barrow load of kindling in basement,take back pack blower an hour plus walk,check game cams,watch little football nascar,might sneak in nap.
