Just saw you’re home, wow, great news! Don’t get ahead of yourself. I can’t get on tractor yet. I’d love just ride the property.
Congrats my friend!
Thanks, you doing good to get out to eat. That's great.

I hope to get in ranger to tour my land, maybe not today.

Have a new garage door openner needs installed.

Out with the 14ish year old mower and blower and in with the new mower with a power lift snow blower. Old one was to heavy for my 82 year old father in law to pick up anymore. This one is just an electric switch operated. Hope it last as long. Oh. 6 more horse power too.
Nice, he will enjoy that.

Drew, that’s one nice rig, and perfect size for you! You should enjoy that as long as you care to.

Which reminds me, I keep forgetting to ask David what his favorite brand of flip flops are? I pulled the piece that goes between my toes out of a pair last week, and though I got it back through the hole, it keeps coming back out at all the wrong times...

Hope everyone's weekend is both productive and relaxing, if the two aren't too mutually exclusive...

Traditional Kiwi repair of Jandles (flip-flops to you) is to use the small piece of plastic that is used to close the bread wrapper.

Don ... Is the tiller work all done with a walk behind tiller?? That's ...... hard work.

The big walk behind Tillers got fixed this morning and were being used when I left.
The gardens are cement block raised bed 4' wide X 28' long so you have to be able to lift the big tillers 16" into the bed.
( I use my little 20 pound Honda cultivator and pull it backwards getting about 10" down. )

Good evening all. 74F this morning, clear, calm wind. Rain east and west of us, thunder much of the afternoon, but no rain. Light wind day, and sky filled with buildups, and high temp was 91F HI 100. bike rid this morning, nice temps than the last 2 Saturdays. Did get a nap in but did not start on wood pile again :(.
Drew, don't forget me in your Texas swing, I think I owe you lunch for the BEF flowers
Phil when you retire the list gets longer faster, but the jobs don't get done any faster :confused2:
Don, Friday here wasn't bad and rain to boot :drink:
Farmer holding my hands/wrists wrong on the Trek will really light my hands up.
Buckeye, don't rush things too much, just enjoy and work on your recovery.
I all but live in my Lands End sandals during summer.
prayers for all.

Those were Randy flowers.....

Son could not get ZT started. Has to move it to get ranger out.

We did clean some of garage. I put on new openner. It just blinked some lights, didnt work. Then it started making a noise. I took it off, it still made noise for awhile. Guess i better read manual.

Pulled myself up steps,. Crawled into bathroom, pulled myself onto shower bench. and took a shower. Scooted back down stairs.

Maybe too much, legs wore out.

Woke up to a deep red sunrise this morning. Not taking it as a weather warning as forecasters are still confident the high pressure will hold to give at least one more dry day. Ideal as I want to finish this pointing, though there may also be a chance to get out in the far hay field with the tractor for a few hours if the baling contractor can make it today

Almost hay.jpg

I try my best to only use a screwdriver as a pry tool... :)

You can pry with them ? :confused2: I thought they were made for stirring paint. :D

59 and stars out. Should see 79 again today.

Glad to see you are getting to do some of the things on your list, Buckeye. I know when chores mount up it just gets worrisome. Sounds like you are making the best of it, and being careful, too.

Toppop, sorry to hear you had a new issue.

Eric, looks like somebody has a lot of baling to do.

Thought about taking advantage of the low 50s in the mountains for a hike, but have too much to do here.

I still have a few of those flowers after two plus weeks, they were much appreciated.
BEF, be careful, I took a tumble in the shower last Sunday when my leg just collapsed without warning. Thankfully I was in a squatting position and was able to get to my knees. Ellen opened the door and I pulled myself into a chair. Didn’t injure me apparently, but it’s scary when you feel helpless.

Going to try and go to church this morning, legs are still weaker than I was hoping by now, but I have my walker.

Looks like a beautiful day, highs around 75° with a stiff NE breeze.

Have a great Sunday folks.

Poured second cup of coffee. 53° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 77° with mostly sunny skies. Great day to work on outdoor projects. Yesterday projects were completed. Should cut grass today. Plus a couple of other small projects. Should be a quiet day. No visit from anybody.

Drew, seen your post in old thread. Will post some stop suggestions later.

Buckeye, don't over do it. Prayers sent.

Randy, praying for your continued recovery.

Thomas, :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Eric, I like the smell of fresh cut hay.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

I bought a shower bench, you should get one, much safer. Need curtain, not a door on shower. I crawled to shower, pulled myself up on, since wheelchair was downstairs.
