About an acre cleared. Now excavator can finish that spot. Still have an acre or so of trees to do the same to. About same number.

graph sample of speed mm/sec (100-400) and power (10-80%). There is also a third option - resolution made by how many lines per mm the laser makes.

I learned a lot but I don't know if I'll enjoy it enough to become proficient. It is mostly computer work and mine would start on a Mac convert to a pc then convert to the laser on board computer. After you master the program and learn the ways to save the different file some which can be edited some cannot some compatible some not and then the 25 steps before you hit the start button . . . . Just give me a chainsaw and a a log.

A different skillset from what most of us see as woodworking I guess. Precision of another sort.

The BEF Extraction Mission ..... will be the Mother of all TBN Extraction Missions.

Cali Guard Chinook will drop RNG's Fire Truck 5 miles away from the Rehab Center in time to fill the water tanks.

Texas Guard Chinook will orbit the extraction zone,at 30,000 ft, one hour prior to extraction.

Maryland Guard KC135 tanker to orbit 75 miles west of extraction site for aerial re-fuel ops, as needed.

Sling lift quick-hooks have been installed on the Subaru.

Mission ops communications will stage near RNG Fire Truck until 15 minutes before extraction, then to site 5 minutes before extraction.
And somehow a paperwork snafu will probably throw it all off.....

85 today. Rain off and on most of day. 73 currently. About the same tomorrow.

Spent the day holding onto a chainsaw. I’m feelin’ it. Stumped and topped about 35 trees. Most ended up being cut into logs. Still have 10 or so to process. Dad helped for a couple hours. Then dragged the pump back out of lake. Blowed the flex hose which was my prediction as it would only build 40psi. Cut it off but don’t have the clamps to repair it. Will get them tomorrow when I take oldest to therapy.

Youngest visit to specialist went ok. They changed some medication and made things more portable. Before we had to always pack a nebulizer. Now we have inhalers. But because of his age we have to spray them into a masked tube and count how many times he moves a one way valve. They did some blood work checking his immunity levels. Scheduled a sweat test for next visit. That’s the test they check for CF with. Doctor just covering bases. Doesn’t think he’ll be positive. If medication doesn’t work then they will scope him and examine airways and take mucus samples.

Found out yesterday that we lost a neighbor Tuesday. 72 I’m told he had a heart attach while mowing his yard. Daughter found him I think. She lives on lot beside them. I always enjoyed stopping by to talk to him. His wife used to work at the McDonald’s Playplace. She was always good to the boys.

Glad buckeye is getting out tomorrow. Are you going to have home restrictions or will you finally be free?

Everyone else get better.
Farmer, lots of cleanup work with those trees.

I am still in wheelchair. Will finish PT at home, so i can walk on my own, climb steps, etc. The walking i do now with a walker is with someone pushing wheelchair behind me in case i go down, hopefully i land in the chair.
I hope to leave by 11, if paperwork is done. I have no control over that.
Will do 930 PT in morning.

Once i leave, head to mission bbq . got to feed the flight crew.

Good morning all. The forecast for today is - someone is going to wake up with a big smile on their face after making it through a really bad time. Happy Great Escape day BEF.

Shhhhh! The Subaru is actually ..... primary!
RNG痴 fire truck will create the diversion and the Chinook will swoop in and snatch up the Subaru ....... if things get wild.
Except ... all the diversion plans will be useless if he's been up half the night watching Steve McQueen. I'm worried he's about to slip out unnoticed in that new chair, then starts pulling wheelies down the last corridor and ends up skidding sideways into the Subaru

72 going to 80? Where did yesterday's 96F go? Washed away with the storm that also ran me in from mowing.

Condition: BEFCON 1!! I saw the helicopter circling low yesterday on a practice run.

Glad I didn't till one field yesterday as planned...surely would have had erosion from the storm last night and the one predicted this afternoon.

good morning all. Big front moving East dumping rain, will hit here later, unfortunately I'm driving in it today, headed two hours West
to Raleigh to State Fair grounds where annual rv show is. I have my floor map all marked up as to where I need to go, with my sore foot, trying
to keep amount of walking today to a minimum. Hard to do in a giant toy store...
Will get there when it opens on first day, trying to beat weekend crowds.

In the three years I sold yachts for Merritt Yacht Brokers in Ft Lauderdale, we had to work four boat shows a year. Stuart, Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.
So I can really feel for the folks manning these rv's at the show, trying to keep kids from pulling off knobs, taking any souvenir home they can. And answering
inane questions from folks who couldn't possibly afford your product. They are very long days, at least in an rv you have some place to sit down.
My favorite was sitting in a $6000 Pompanette fighting chair on the back of a 61 foot sports fisherman. Thankfully that boat had a big retractable shade that went over the whole cockpit of the boat. I wasn't there long, just helping out another broker who actually knew something about deep sea fishing.
I get instantly sick and avoid rocking around at all cost. Keep me moving with my hands on the wheel and I have never gotten sick once.

And yes RNG, I have done a number of different things. It's made life fun. I have taken risks I could never have if I had kids.

Hope all in need of healing today get a full dose.

My Aunt's memorial service was really nice. Sang some old hymns. My uncle is sad, but he held up well. When my aunt told everyone that "I know where I'm going and I'm ready to go." It really put us all at ease. I hope I can do the same thing when it's my time.

Thanks for the thoughts team.

Farmer, prayers for your family. Hope your son gets better soon. You sure are working hard on that clearing. I often think about how hard it was to clear land, generations ago, doing it with an axe by hand.

Wifey just brought me coffee. Yummy, it is a flavored coffee done by our large grocery chain HEB. They call it the "Houston Blend". It has some pecan praline and coconut flavors. Decaf for me of course. We hope to go spend time together today all by ourselves. Maybe go kayaking.

Drew, I hear just driving on the freeways on the east coast, is considered a big risk. :)

Getting kids ready for school. The usual morning "production" show.

I chuckled Wng, about BEFCON. :) BEF, I hope your ready. I know it's going to be tough. Prayers for you and your family.

Prayers for Randy and Ellen. And for Ron and Betty.

Who out there close by can create a diversion for BEFCON? I'm sure we could quickly get some clever ideas for a diversion....Bunch of guys driving their tractors through downtown???

   / Good morning!!!! #98,114
Drinking first cup of coffee. 52° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 74° with partly cloudy skies. Got my projects completed yesterday. Today is the last of my final trip and resting place arrangements. Been tough. Doing mine at the same time. That way kids will not have to go though the same. Need some seat time. May put chipper on tractor.

Buckeye, sure hope that paper work is done properly and in a timely fashion. Looks like TBN can be relied on to do a final rescue if needed. Prayers sent.

Randy, hope your recovery is going good. Prayers.

Drew, good luck with RV search.

Farmer, lot of firewood in some of those trees. Is someone taking some of the trees for milling?

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

I hope someone has a video camera. I would love to see the aerial refueling of RNGs Fire Truck

The fire truck will drive less than 20 miles total. No fuel needed. . Logistics planned.

Funny, PT said i havent practiced transfers from wheelchair to vehicle.i reminded them the first time from the hodpital, they didnt schedule ambulance transfer, so I did transfer from wheelchair to vehicle, and vehicle to wheelchair. Didnt need any more practice than that.....

68 deg and rain that's the end of my plan to cut the grass.

Have a good morning all
