Randy.
Had my PT evaluation today, and while I have a long, long way to go, they discharged me from home visits. Only the nurse visits for a couple of weeks and I知 on my own to finish the job.

That's great news to read. kick butt.

Good morning a pleasant 77 now heading to the 90's later today.
Have to take the wife to DMV so she can renew her driver's license them I'm sure she will find other projects for me wile out.
Drew welcome to the Tinnitus club after many years at the range and emergency sirens I have constant ringing ears, the worst time is when trying to get to sleep took some time but learned to mostly ignore it
BEF sorry to hear slow recovery but it is a disease of the nervous system and takes time to heal. Positive attitude and now it will take time and work.
Ring I have had no problems with my Deere it's a 2032R and has done everything I have needed it to. I had the tires loaded for some extra weight helps with heavy load in the bucket I also have a steep driveway and for winter snow removal haven't needed chains. Think you will quickly adjust to the 2 peddle forward/reverse it is easier for me than the Kubota also breaks on the opposite side a plus. Happy tractor hunting.
Randy good to see a newly wed has time to post. Keep getting better enjoy your input.
Stay safe everyone and have a good day

A gal on one of the Alaska reality shows uses household bleach splashed around the perimeter of her buildings to keep wild predators like bears and wolverines at bay. Doesn't last through a rain storm, but less chance of burning down the building, too. Good luck in your game of wits, Thomas!

Coffee is done brewing. 70° with light rain this morning. Heading to 86° with lots of sun in afternoon. Total rain yesterday 1.18" enough to keep grass growing for awhile even in 90° temperatures. Wife has a Dr appointment this morning. Then a family picnic this evening.

Buckeye, hope rehab get you on a fast road to recovery. Prayers sent.

Randy, 7 year old grandson should give you a lot of rehab.

All those doing projects in the heat be stay hydrated and safe.

Happy Birthday Kalani.

Wngsprd, hope you find hitch. I usually find what I cannot find when I start looking for something else. :confused3:

Roy, hope you find your internet problems soon.

Drew, my tinnitus and Meniere's disease are something I have learned to live with. Only really bothers me when I want to rest. I had a neighbor that it put into hospital. His rehab was walk a lot daily. No sure it would help you or I. Since we are active every day.

Good Morning All.

Good morning! 77˚F heading to 97˚F dry morning now dew before sunrise clear skies.

BEF Hang in there this may be a rough ride before the disease peaks and then recedes. It could take several weeks. We know you might not be able to let us know but keep in contact as long as you can. Our prayers are with you.

Good Morning!!!! 70F @ 5:00AM. Sunny. High 97F. Winds SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

Hope them what's ailin' makes steps toward good health today. One step at a time...

Got the steel shipping pallets unloaded from the trailer yesterday using the pallet forks. Didn't work so well on the uneven ground around here, but it worked well enough. You folks out in the flat lands don't know what yer missin'!

Spent too much of yesterday morning on the phone, so today I'll be out front stringing drip tube to see if I can finish one circuit of the sprinkler system. Be nice to see one working before I start on the other three.

Then maybe over to the LS dealer to see what I can see.

Happy Hump Day, folks!

71°F and foggy this morning, going up to 96° today. Going to be near 100° for the next few days, then back to more normal 80s next week. We got a bunch of the pop-up thunderstorms that rolled through the area yesterday. Quick hitters that make a lot of noise and drop a lot of water quickly, then move on. Lake is overflowing again, and the bog is flooded, again.

Best wishes to our recovery crew.

Good luck with the continued tractor shopping, RNG.

Rick, I don’t know about the ratio ( the other line managed to hit a bridge and kill someone as we cruised) but the AMA service was excellent.
Wife and I were met at 1115 on shore and first on the boat. Apologies that room wouldn’t be ready but feel free to enjoy lounge etc. Very nice lunch (with Gluten free selections) included and very few people actually arrived before 3PM. On the day we disembarked, they actually made taxi reservations for those that wanted them. Again, we got to hang out in the lounge as our cab wasn’t needed until about 3pm. Showed up about 15 minutes early, but we were told no need to hurry that he would wait (without meter running) I did note that day’s buffet lunch did not include gluten free and SIL had already disembarked so I’m guessing new group didn’t require.

Where you going next?
Thought the African trip looked interesting, but what a budget buster.

Were thinking France, Spain, Portugal.

We've had similar experience with AMA David. Our last trip we arrived at AMS fairly early morning and took a taxi to the boat. They took our luggage, checked us in and we kept what we needed, for the day, in our backpacks. I had been to Amsterdam many times over the years, on side trips, from business visits but Patricia had not. We took a nice walking tour with a great lunch at a place I'd been to dozens of times. We got back to the boat by a bit after 2 p.m. and our luggage was in our room. A very pleasant experience.

We'd been on one "big boat" cruise and probably never again. Too may people ..... too many amateurs trying to impress.

The river cruises are very laid back and relaxing.

Good Morning! It was 76°F this morning and foggy. The fog has burned off and already 81°F on the way to 95°F this afternoon.

A "cool front" (cool being relative) is forecast for early next week, meaning highs only getting to low 90's. . Maybe some rain?

I need to get back to mowing the 9 acres around the house today and will do as much, as possible, with the LS tractor / RFM and Air conditioning.

Started installing a Delta Hook quick hitch receiver on my 3-point chain harrow yesterday to make hookup quick and easy. I needed two 7/8-14 x 2" fine thread bolts to finish. Tractor Supply completely skipped 7/8", in their fine thread bolts, going from 3/4" to 1". (IMHO Tractor Supply is rapidly becoming a clothing store that keeps some other stuff.) Local hardware store stopped at 1/2" in fine thread. Last resort, was local bearing supply house which had exactly what I needed. I celebrated my good fortune with a haircut.

RNG ..... good luck with your LS visit.

Randy .....small steps to full health.

BEF ....... ditto.

Thomas ...... good luck with your War of Wits with your bears. I wonder if mothballs might work for you as it did on our persistent skunks?

Hoping everyone has a productive "Hump Day".

Prayers to all.

I've noticed this, too. Our nearest Rural King is even worse, with nearly half the store now devoted to clothing.

The other issue I've found with TSC is you can rarely find anybody working there that knows anything about anything.

You'd better do your own research before getting there. The search function, on their web site is almost useless. Before going there, I checked their site and searched for "7/8-14 hex bolts". The search function would keep deleting the forward slash (/) and show "0 results". If I just searched for "7/8 hex bolts" only 7/16 would show up plus lots of totally unrelated items. I drove over there with low confidence of getting what I needed ...... so not surprised. Rant over!

We are fortunate in that our local New Holland dealer also stocks nuts and bolts by the pound for a half way decent price.

Good morning to all! Low of 62 last night, going up to 95 today. A lot less humidity than some of you guys are experiencing! Had a brief t-storm yesterday afternoon, but not much rain at all, didn't really hit the first line in the rain gauge.

I've been really busy trying to 'clean out' the house to get it ready for the son's takeover. They will be arriving next week. We haven't seen him and DIL for almost 2 years. He "has had enough" of Chattanooga TN weather (rain / humidity), bugs, and other reasons. We will be selling the house to them. We won't have to "get out", and can take our time transitioning. That alone will be nice!

BEF and Randy, good news from both of you.... Praysers and thoughts out to both of you for continued healing and forward progress!

Everyone have a great 'humpday'. I need to get moving.... I 'm already behind....

got town errands done, picked veggies for an hour, totally soaked in sweat, heat index 117,
didn't even make it until noon.
Buppies, hope you are feeling ok after a day like this outside.

Going to stay inside until after dinner, do some watering then, and then start very early tomorrow morning.

Ted, I picked a bunch of hatch peppers today. Even for a Philadelphia boy, I bet you have learned to love them; assuming you like
hot peppers. I do but they don't like me at all so I grow them for others. How's the knee doing?

Oh, almost forgot.... My other son also confirmed that they will be moving back to NM from Everett Washington the end of August. He has "had enough" of the high cost of living in the Seattle area. He couldn't get a job up there as an engineer, so he decided he is going to attend a flight school to become a commercial pilot....something he has always wanted to do, but never pursued. We told him "go for it"!

Well, I only like the 'red roasted' hatch peppers. I actually hate the green. Unfortunately, I can only tolerate very small amounts or will 'pay the price' for 24 hours.

The knee has only improved a little bit. Overall pain slightly decreased, swelling still occurs after about 2 hours now, versus 1 hour previously. Seems that the 'lubrication injection' is starting to wear off. My next eval is in August... I guess I'll find out the next step then. Thanks, I appreciate you asking.

Stay out of that heat for sure! It will take it's toll quickly....

If you do get that RV and start heading west, it would be great to meet you on your way out... We even have RV hook ups here. Consider it an open invitation for a lay-over....
