Rick, I think that truck takes a few more quarts...;)

CONGRATULATIONS to the US Women's soccer team, beating England 2-1 yesterday.
May be the new World champs.
Sorry Eric, lot of tears at the pubs yesterday I bet...

Yep .... the 6.7 PS takes 13 quarts, when you change the filter.

70 outside this AM. Heading towards middle 90's. T-Storms moved through late yesterday. Same the next few days. Kind of puts a crimp in your plans IF you can stomach the heat and humidity when you are working. I hate being caught out in an open pasture with the storms coming through. I always think one bolt has my name on it. LOL.

Anyway, more moving stuff around. The wood pile looks like it will be an interior barn wall and floor. Two separate rooms.

My burn pile may be seen from space if I light it. It's triple the size it should be. That was a mistake.

Hope all are on the mends and have a great fourth. Be safe.

Yeah, womens soccer!

Poured first cup of coffee. 69° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 84° with mostly cloudy skies. Thunderstorms last evening lasted until midnight. Lots of trees down and power outages. In my area there are about 100 homes. I have power but no cable/internet. Not much planned today. Everything is very wet from almost 1” of rain.

Drew, good luck with oil change. It is not included with price of car?

Randy keep getting better. Prayers sent.

Buckeye, hope the latest med get rid of the Pneumonia.

Prayers for those recovering.

Good Morning All.

Good afternoon, (or if the earth hasn't quite spun that far where you live, Good morning !)

Sorry Eric, lot of tears at the pubs yesterday I bet...
I am working away from home after travelling over last night while the football was on. I could tell it wasn't going well for England as when I got out of the car there was a big groan from a house across the road. The good news was that the main roads had very few cars and almost no trucks last night, proof that ladies football has a much greater following than ever before.

Thanks for the document on algae control Rick. Our largest pond is not looking good and the sheep drink from it. Maybe I should keep a close eye on the 3 swans that were happily swimming around it yesterday - upside down piles of white feathers would be a sure sign that it was going toxic. In other parts of the country, the swan upping tradition that happens in July is not as much cause for concern River Thames Swan Upping

Warm weather has lots of dangers. Guy sat across from me has lost the skin from the end of his nose and has no eyebrows. He lit his (gas) barbecue last week, not realizing the burners had been left on full ... KaBoom.
Fortunately no burgers were harmed :).

Up early to take meds. Just the first antibiotic did wonders.

Today is camping day. Wife has been filling the camper. I need to check air in tires and get it hooked to the truck.(and drive it to PA, and set everything up)

Was cloudy, now sun is coming out. Hot, with afternoon storms all week. Nothing like camping in a forest during storms......

Good morning to you all 75 degrees and having a coffee plan on getting the lawn mowed this morning a little tractor time then off to the lake this afternoon have to re arrange a jetski dock, last year someone sucked up rocks in the shallow water and it was a $450 repair.
Did get the Ford running yesterday but was short lived, distributor is shorting out looking like I need to find a new one.

76°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 91° today.

Got the Husqvarna rider on the trailer last night so the Wife could take it in today when she picks up the Dixon zero-turn. There's a bad connection somewhere in the harness from the key switch, and I'm tired of chasing it. So, she went early this morning, and came back home with a not-the-Dixon-I-took-in-last-weekend. We'd talked about using the Dixon to get us through the rest of this season, then trading it for something new. Looks like they made her a deal, and gave her $700 trade for the 12-year-old Dixon (which is actually in pretty good shape), so all of our mowers are Husqy orange now ... except for the LS.

Eric, I have a friend from Liverpool (lives in Widnes now) - whose name is also Paul Smith - who lost a bet on that game, and now has an American flag as the background picture on his Facebook page. Some of his friends have been giving him a lot of grief over it, but his reply was, "Hey, a bet is a bet."

Burning off 4th layer of oil to season my new griddle.

Tires on camper about 6 lb low from over the winter. Just got to hook it up.

Sitting in easy chair with a fan blowing on me. That snow didnt cool me off.0703191132.jpeg

Grass is cut now sitting with a cold water in the air conditioning sure gets hot in that cab tractor with no air.
Tried to start the 2N again wouldn't fire up turned over good. Reached behind the fan with a screwdriver and gave the Distributor a few good taps and tried again and fired right up. Does sound good for a 72 year old tractor that sat for 15 years or so.
Off to find another project to keep me out of trouble before heading to the lake.

David, congrats on getting the old girl running. I hope I make it to 72...

Drew, good luck with oil change. It is not included with price of car? Good morning!!!!
in fact I was pleasantly surprised Audi pays for the first oil change, tire rotation was cheap, and I just realized I walked out of there
without paying my bill. Oh what fun, will call them back now with cc in hand. We got distracted trying to fix the inop rear tailgate sensor which
they determined (remarkably) was not due to operator error. Made another appt for them to come get my car, leave a loaner in the driveway, which is always a
similar model, and I'll get it back when they replace the sensor I guess.

96 degrees out, really miserable, and I need to go pick okra and tomatoes. Going to be a sweaty affair, not staying outside today, hope we get some much needed rain.

I seasoned my new Blackstone grill a month ago.. need to set it up on deck so wife can use it when she wants. We got it for camping, but nothing wrong with using it other times too.
