Need to make a pot of coffee. 62° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 87° with sunny skies. Slept in this morning. Not sure what is on list for today except take Sassy in for her last puppy shot.

Roofing company sends out a final inspector. His first comment was. A white roof. The way it should be done. But very few do it. The trend is to put up brown, gray or black.

Hope all those healing continue. Prayers sent.

Good Morning All.

Good morning. 1st cup of coffee gone, need another. Supposed to get to 86 today. Finally some warm weather in this part of Ohio.

Took a day of vacation. Got a lot of things I need to get done. Have some plumbing work being done this afternoon.....so just going to stay home and do some outside projects.

Going to the AFT race in Lima Saturday. Going to meet up with 2 old racers I have not seen for a LONG time. Should be a good time.

Thoughts to everyone who needs them.

Probably should till the garden while it is cool......

Everyone have a safe and good day

Hope all have a great start to a good day.

For us here, looks like about 68 outside this AM. Highs will move into the 90's. Seems less humid today than yesterday.

Got all the "stuff" out of the run-in, loafer shed we are taking down. Will call in a helper. Got stung three times and used three bottles of hornet spray. One bottle must have been expired, as I hit some and it did not kill on contact. It only made them wet and mad. Never seen that before.

Unfortunately I have run out of space in the wood shed, so parts of that Maple we had taken down, ended up in the run-in. I hate moving wood more than once. And this is exactly what I am doing. I seem to have collected a lot of "stuff" in the loafer shed, Barbed Wire, metal roofing, plastic roofing, water lines, drain tiles, chain fence panels and assorted wood posts and fencing.
Need to find some shelter for all that.

Need to cut grass, again, today. Looks like the front now. Of course the pattern is now in two days, the back will need it. LOL.

Have a great day all, be safe! Hope all are on the mends.

Good morning! 76˚F heading to the 90s, partly cloudy.

'08 F150's windshield wiper reservoir is leaking. Took it out yesterday and could not see any cracks, and silicon the connections, still leaking. This morning I'll get a new one and install it. That should take half a day.

Had some seat time yesterday at the gardens moving mulch and fixed the leaning pin on the box blade with a lock washer I got off a ball from a trailer hitch laying around - felt like Eric and his nut holding find.

just picked today's tomatoes, now to take seven pounds down to food bank and out of my fridge so I have some room
for my own food. Cleaning ladies called and said they were coming later, not early so off I go.
Then headed to TSC, coupon getting warm in my pocket. Then to supermarket to buy wine, getting low, remembered to take my
six pack wine bottle holder, they discount ten percent for six bottles or more. We still do not have private ABC stores here in this State.

Don, good luck with windshield washer reservoir. Hope there are no weird connectors involved.
Had to look up loafing shed Riptides, learn something every day...
: a barn or shed for cattle in which they range at will on a heavy bedding of straw rather than occupy fixed stanchions

is this how loafing around came about?

Good morning sunshine 70 deg now heading to the 80's with clear blue skies.
Waiting for my son to call then heading to boat launch. Hopefully it starts as good in the water as it did yesterday when adjusting to the carb..
Not bad for a 46 year old toy. IMG_20190627_081724116.jpegIMG_20190627_082106804.jpeg

Got me, I was labeled a "slacker", "loafer" by the SO. LOL. When the old guys come around they always used to point to the "loafer" shed in the pasture. Guess the name stuck with me.

Good Morning!!!! 56F @ 6:15AM. Sunshine and a few afternoon clouds. High 81F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

You don't see metal flake like that on many new boats, DAB, and your boat shows a lot of love being that many years young. Hope you have a great time with it today!

Sounds like you need a new loafer shed to hold the contents of the old one, Mike.

FedEx tried to deliver something from the insurance adjuster yesterday, but they needed a signature and the gate was locked. I've errands to run in town this afternoon, so I'll pick it up then. Still don't know what the settlement amount is...

Took a day off digging yesterday, waiting on more drip line fittings anyway. Turns out there are more than one size of 1/2" drip tube, and of course I ordered the wrong one. :confused2:

It was nice to work on a little fabrication project instead, machining a short stub to extend the outlet of an exhaust collector, then weld it on. I'll finish that this morning, and maybe get a start on lengthening the center stand as well. Very nice weather for working in the garage for the next couple of days.

Came to the conclusion that the viscous coupler for the van was not salvageable, to ordered a solid splined coupler to replace it. Not much chance of it being out of balance, so hopefully that fixes the vibration issue in the front diff. If not, it'll get sent to a reputable rebuilder where it will also get a locker installed.

Hang in there, gang, Friday's comin'!

I got a whole shed full of treasures like that, lol. Old windows, pieces of pipe, cut off siding, wood pieces, etc... Lol

Loafing shed, usually 3 walls, one side open so animals can get some shade or get out of the weather.

73 this morning and headed to 87 today.

Got hay equipment hooked up yesterday and started on some maintenance on it. Must be a strong magnet between me making hay and rain. Every time I think about it we get big rains. Like last night. A pop up thunderstorm dropped 1.75 inches of rain on us. That brings our total to 7.25 inches since last Thursday. It also knocked out power for 7 hours. Chicken house generator got a good exercise and I got to hear how my wife couldn’t sleep without a fan and a/c. My plan was to cut hay today, as the ground was just firming up and the standing water was disappearing.

Hope everyone is mending and well.
