Well, the field got mowed high. Had to beat one pin out of BH again. Left loader bucket on to knock some of the chaff off first. Took longer to take off bh, put on arms, put on mower than it did to mow. Cut it with mower up high. Lots of grass blown down, so not cut, plus the tire tracks did not get cut, just knocked down. In a few days ill go over it again a little lower.

One problem, when i was about done, tractor was having hard time going up the hill. It was fine earlier. I have HST+, tried low and high. Will have to check fluid.
Was nice mowing with AC, and not breathing in the dust.

1st time BH off since 2014. The left arm slide to adjust is bent, wont slide. Must have happened last time, maybe got caught on BH frame.

BEF, you and RNG knocking out pins to get the backhoe off....BTDT....but with sickle bar cutter instead.

Been a while since I've posted. Prayers to those who need them. Farmer, glad to see your back and doing good as can be.

Drew, thanks for the Randy update. I'm still praying for you Randy.

Teaching the 9 year old boy the riding mower. He was anxious to start it, as expected, but I spent about 30 minutes about Do's and Don'ts. He did fairly well for his first go at it. Turning sharp and missing a few corners. His big sister was quick to point that out to him. I told her she did the same thing the first few times. I give them a "stipend" to cut the grass. Usually about $4 or $5 bucks. Ha Ha. They like earning money to spend how they want. Since I had to watch, I had a beer in the shade.

Don, yes sir! Yes sir, no sir while your "guns" are all pumped up from sanding.

My buddy bought some used equipment to keep up his haying business. A Deere 6110M and a 569 Baler Mega wide. Whole lotta mullah. That tractor is so quiet, I can't even tell he's in it working while I talk to him on the phone. He wanted a slightly higher HP model, but couldn't find one in his price range.

OH, you guys with bears and skunks be careful.

Dawn soap works on skunks and .44 mag works on bears.

Checking in from Owens Mills, MD. Friday night commuter traffic in the Washington, D.C./Baltimore, MD area was crazy, but we made it to our destination without incident other than 途oad shock.

DABSGT- Thanks for the information about the Taino Smokehouse. My BIL and GF in SC do not like barbecue. Wifey and I found Wink's® on our way to Durham, NC yesterday... Good eats. Many of our road trips include planned stops at decent smokehouses/barbecue eateries.

Still too hot, but not as humid as SC and NC. today

I appreciate the pictures and weather/garden/animal reports from all of you.

The more I travel the the more I see the similarities and not the differences in people despite the Region; but food is different:cool:

My + thoughts, wishes, and prayers.

Hey guys, still kicking! Major improvement since yesterday morning. It seems other than normal recovery, I have steroid withdrawal. I was getting weaker everyday, memory loss, skin flaking like snowflakes from my face, nausea, vomiting. Long story short, I’m a years long low dose prednisone user and they tried to taper off in 6 days. I got home from docs office around lunch time and took 10mg of prednisone, and it was like you flipped a switch!
Appetite was back, no nausea, BM’s are regulating.
I have a long way to go, but I feel I’ve turned a corner.
Without Ellen, I would have been in a facility, I can’t wait to make her my wife!
Thank you all for the prayers, God will see me through.
