Good morning to all! Low of 40, going up to a high of 78! Wait a minute....what happened to the mid 60's? Might get a little breezy.

No rain / showers predicted, so time to get the drip irrigation up and running. Might get to that today. Need to do a dump run also.

The recall service actually went easier than expected yesterday, they had it done in 1 1/2 hours, including a car wash. Not bad.

We'll see if the Jeep recall goes as smooth today. It's at a different much larger stealership. This one usually has me angry within about 10 minutes....they just have an "attitude" that they are the best and can't do any wrong.

I haven't seen any vultures out here for about the last 12 years. Maybe they just aren't in this particular area... It's wide open, so maybe I just don't see them. There is a large group of crows or ravens that hang around the area. They are the biggest I've ever seen...about as big as a vulture. Maybe they keep the vultures away?

Got to get moving....everyone have a great day! Prayers sent.

That could very well be the case, Ted. There are usually at least one pair of Turkey Buzzards soaring in the canyon outback, at least when it's not raining. Usually there are about a dozen or so. Once in a while, a crow or blackbird will take exception to them, and start dive bombing them. The smaller birds are much more maneuverable than the buzzards, kinda like the WWII era ME109s and the B17s. They'll do the same to eagles. I don't know if they're protecting nests or what, but it is interesting to watch.

Good morning all,

38 this morning with some wind. Looks like the mountain is getting some snow but I'll get sleet if anything here. Still not much melting going on.

My Utah plate expires this month (car) so I'll be getting it registered in Idaho today.

Yesterday my wife and I toured the facility where they build covered wagons for "glamping". If you google Conestoga Ranch you can see some of the wagon's.

Got to go, prayers for those in need and hope all of you have a great day.

It's the warmest morning so far this year 34°. Yesterday was in the mid 40's and partly cloudy. Today is going to be partly cloudy this morning with a high in the low 40's and a chance of shower this afternoon. Changing over to snow overnight with 3-5 inches by morning and winds 15-20 mph.

Talked to the neighbor yesterday and he has some steel that will work for the legs of the table.

I'll get that when we get back from town later today.

Hope everyone has a great day.
CWB.

54° and light drizzle this morning, going up to 67° today with rain expected this afternoon. They say we'll be getting about 2" over the next couple of days.

Rivers are coming up around here, too. Ferries started closing last week, and a highway closed on one side yesterday going into Alton, IL from the Missouri side. Looks like flood season is here.

FWIW, I wish I had a way of wirelessly downloading the images from my game camera without having to fool around with removing and installing an SD card. But then I have to change batteries every six months anyway, so I still have to get to it. But I'd check the images more often if it was more convenient.

I remember seeing game cameras that will download the pics to your phone or ipad or whatever mobile device. I'm not a fan of the SD cards either. It's kind of a pain to walk out to the cameras, pull the card, walk back to the house to view on the computer, delete pics, walk back to the cameras and reinstall. Not that I don't need the exercise, but ... The ones I bought were on sale at Gander Mountain, and were considerably less expensive than the fancy-schmancy ones.

You haven't been into a car stealership in 12 years? There are plenty of vultures there.:D

Don, funny but you might want to hurry with the cam. That way, you'll know if it was a golfer or a mower throwing that rock through your window.....at Easter you could put out an egg.

PJ, glad you spared me from opening the belt link. Glad your software worked and you now have a modern studio. I'm a bit envious, but with my .002 worth of musical talent......

No suspenders....yet..... sure cure for noazzatol.

Just spent almost 2 hours waiting at Walmart Automotive for them to mount my trailer tires. It sure wasn't a Nascar style pit stop. Tires were cheap enough. 10 ply 225/75R -15 radials from China. Roughly $68 mounted, with new valve stems. $3 for new valve stems and $2 to dispose of old tires each.

Just think of all the extra exercise you're making for those golfers, Don. And all the bad karma you're making for yourself.:laughing:
I'd write april fools on it with a sharpie.

I hope they weren't the Iron Man brand, Kyle. I had one shred itself on a rental trailer on which I was towing my Kubota side-by-side, and two more that came on the F250 delaminate.

You do know that you could make flower pots out of the old tires?

My no good neighbor does better than that. He hangs 'em up on a T-post, then wires a No Trespassing sign in the middle. He's got a half dozen of 'em lined up on the road into the cul-de-sac into which our driveways terminate. I think they nicely complement the trailer trash decor he's already established with the orange and green 40' shipping container that also borders the cul-de-sac. This is the same neighbor that complained that a couple of my brush burn piles that were neatly stacked along my easement ruined the atmosphere for his son's upcoming wedding a couple years back. Cost me two hours of dozer time to have 'em moved in an effort to placate the "gentleman". Feel free to substitute a non-family friendly term I actually use for "gentleman".:confused3::muttering:

Where Don lives there is probably someone that speaks and reads any language you want.
Maybe but the only language lessons currently offered are FRENCH, GERMAN, ITALIAN, RUSSIAN, PORTUGUESE, SPANISH and SIGN LANGUAGE.
