That is my single garage I replaced the burned building with, if it had fallen that far in the opposite direction it would have hit the house though. I had one fall on my main garage two years ago, but it was a small cherry limb.
But maybe I will buy that lottery ticket though!

Better make that Monte Carlo your daily driver...it has some magic mojo going on.

Great owl pic, Jay. We had several Snowy owls here through the winter of 2013.

Nice pic Jay. Wife and I made it home safe. Big difference in weather! I'll take sunny and 82 any day. We stopped at Gettysburg,Pa. on the way home. It was nice checking out all the sites with almost no one else in the way. Walking around the cemetery with 50/60 mile winds was not fun. Brrrrrrrrrr.
At home we have a storm coming and the wind blew down so many branches in my driveway I had to dig out a rake to move enough out of the way so I can operate the blower. Had to help the neighbor fix a tire on his BX23. keeps going flat.I think he will have to bring it back to the dealer, his tractor only has 10 hours on it. Enough rambling, after driving over 3000 miles for the trip I'm tired. Need to catch up on all the threads. Goodnight all.

Thanks for the kudos. Our first St.B. loved to play fetch (like 1X or 2X and then it's time to take a break) and one night on the "runway" an owl buzzed me going after that thrown kong ball. Never heard it, only felt/sensed it during the ear "flyby"

They've been ah' hootin' and ah' howlerin' a lot the past few weeks around here;) They can be very loud and very vocal with their various vocalizations.

Around here the world of birds Spring is in the "air";). No Vultures nor early migrators yet.... But Sugar Houses are active.

Don’t be sorry, nice pic, Jay

Good evening all. 54F for the start, fog, .3 inch in the rain gauge, calm wind. Front came through about 11AM, Fog and drizzle most of the day, wind got brisk in the afternoon, high temp 57F, low temp current 30F. Wife tried to get a physical to follow after her breathing issue the other week. When she made the appointment tried to set up with general physician, no she had to see ""lady" doctor. We get to town, they ask why are you seeing "lady" doctor:banghead:Did get some grocery shopping done while she at dr office, and got some Japanese take for home.
Jay nice owl pic.
Randy glad that branch did not fall on anything important!!
PJ don't you love it when there is quality entertainment on the way home to help with the destress!!
Drew, I hate when I place something in a secure location, from me:ashamed: Good luck with the rototiller repair.
I have poor luck with rechargeable batteries when temp below 50F.
Ron heck of a deal with the tower, seems like they would figure more wind in design phase :2cents:
Roy, hope wife let go home soon.
Prayers for all

8 degrees right now...high in the mid-20's today and possible snow showers.

We brought Suzette home yesterday! Initially, she had that hospital look...old lady and shuffling. After a few hours she became her old self. She'll be on oxygen or air for a while, so there is a generator in the living room with a long enough hose for her to get into the bedroom and kitchen. We also have a half dozen small oxygen bottles for portable use. I'm really hoping she can wean herself off supplementary oxygen quickly.

Good morning. The last day of the month, I'm going to be a little sad to say goodbye to February as this has to have been one of the kindest ever weatherwise for us. I managed to find a spare hour to get up on the hay barn roof yesterday afternoon to fix the cracked fibre cement sheet and was toasty warm without any need for winter clothing.

Randy, yikes, you had some good luck with that tree. I'm far too much of a pessimist to live with tall trees so close to the house.

Jay, you thought you were hiding, but either the owl has an unusual interest in Ficus plants, or it knew exactly where you were. :) Nicely caught on camera.
