The anvil loppers are Groundwork brand. I think I got them at Tractor Supply but they're no longer on the website.

I prefer the bypass loppers as I think they cut better and extend out a bit longer.

Anyone using Ratchet Loppers. The demo at home show sure looked good.

is the ratchet part adjust at variable distances or just a click/knotch adjustable. The problem I've had in the past is the catching was spaced a bit too far apart for smooth operation. That might be a better one. With adjustable handles you will need room to open wide the looper with the handles extended. As you get older you do need an "assist". I'll someday need one -

I'm always looking for a better lopper, where are you ordering Rick's from?

The demo showed to me did not require that handle be fully open. I tried them at show. Going to take some time to learn how to use one. I still do not have enough strength in my right arm to properly handle the weight.

Next Sunday we are suppose to have temperatures in the 40's.
That will make our gravel road a mud pit.

We used make this concoction for a sore throat:
Take a medium size glass or a coffee mug.
Fill it to about half with your favorite alcohol such as rum.
Fill it to the top with a hot tea.
Add large spoon of honey.
Toss in few aspirin tablets.
Squeeze in lemon.
Chug it and hop in bed.
It will knock you out and you will hopefully fall asleep. You will sweat a lot. Hopefully it will make you better.
Another way is to go deep in large pine forest. The pines emit some substance that kills bacteria, fungus etc. When our kids were little and started to sneeze or feeling sick we would put them in the car a drove to the forest for a half of a day. It worked quite well but only when we caught the infection early. Once the infection was in progress it wasn't too effective. Spending frequently time in the forest was a great infection prevention.
