It's a dull start to the day, with damp ground after a few overnight showers. Time I brought under cover some of the little piles of firewood I left out in the field to dry over the summer, before it starts to rot. I already have plenty of wood for this winter, so what I collect now can have at least another full year to season.

Good morning all, 30 going to 45 and sunny. Electricity is still off and Dominion Power has 47,151 customers without power as of last night, they say it will be days not hours to get the power back on. We are fine with the gen taking good care of us, the kitchen stove and dishwasher don't work and a few plug in's, other than that we hardly notice.

WNS, looks like fine art to me. The buggy shop where the blacksmith guild used to meet restored John D's buggy, the one he drove to work. Pretty fancy.

RNG hope and pray you can be safely home soon and yes thanks for the insight.

Eric, had a cousin that would say, I am cutting 5 years from now wood. He just could not bring himself to stop cutting.

19 going to a high of 25F. Wind ENE 15 mph. Snow in the forecast 4" today and another 2 overnight.
I've got the block heater fired up for the tractor. After about 9 I will go out and plow.

I think today would be a good day to start making the roads into my snow dumps. I think I will use my 100x100' field as well.

Having read the new rules for growing my 4 pot plants, I cannot grow them outside. I gotta grow them in the house, so that will wait until I am fully retired. Another 30 years or so.

Remember people, today is P.O.E.T.S. day.
Piss Off Early Tomorrow is Saturday.

No snow lots of ice no power only 3G for internet and I am one of four here without power have no idea when it will come back. Tree fell broke line almost hitting my truck which our son and I were in

Coffee finished brewing. 31° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 36° with some morning snow showers. Not enough snow yesterday to plow. Will need to clean walkway to garage. No major plans beyond that.

We've have a frosty 33 and should see it get to 50 and clear skies for the first time in a while! Just watched 3 deer cross the field. I bet they are glad the rain stopped. Tomorrow is opening of gun season.

All of you with snow, be careful. I saw one place in NY on the weather report that got 18 inches yesterday.
