Speaking of bad neighbors, the tree'd land next to my office is for sale. Commercial property. Leaving work last night i heard the sound of a tractor bucket or backhoe bucket, you know the sound when you shake the bucket to get everything out. Lots of trees, so couldn't see.

So i get in my car, pull around from the parking area to the road, and i pass a blue tractor coming the other way. Then i look over to the lot on the right, and i see where they pushed into the brush with the tractor bucket and left piles of shrub/grass clippings in the woods.
My office building is at the end of the street, only 2 houses next to it, one has a blue tractor out back...

Good evening all. 49F this morning, clear and calm. Sky stayed mostly clear, wind picked up a bit with some gustyness to it, and high temp of 71F. Worked on some consulting this morning waiting for the warmup. Got a bike ride in, may not make to 6k miles this year, with all the rain and cold in October.
David, having fun bush hogging the moringa?
CWB hope you get good hunting weather.
Drew have fun tractor shopping, slowing down on the social life?
Prayers for all.

LS, funny you should mention.
Actually, as i was mowing, I was thinking ( bad habit). We are zoned 20 acre AG, so not likely to be an subdividing in my lifetime, but I would think very possible for my granddaughter. As I gazed about it was easy to envision a 5 awesome lots with unobstructed ocean views. Would think that would make my granddaughter comfortable financially.

Mostly, probably got about 98% of moringa initially knocked down - cant admit to being a lot of fun. I have to admit to being somewhat abusive to tractor and the mower between the unexpected rocks and the shallow stumps, most of which partially uprooted when knocking down the moringa. I think the wood will decay in short order. Thinking i might find the landscape rake helpful for cleaning up.

With a cold wind blowing from the north, I tried to earn a few bonus points this morning by getting out at first light to remove ice from the windscreen of my wifes car. She was up early for a day out on a craft course with friends. Max must have thought I was going too, as when I came back through the door he greeted me as if I had been away for hours.

I've had similar thoughts about a large shed in the middle of our land, a good distance away from the houses that are soon to be built. When I'm gone someone will probably convert it to a big house. It already has it's own private drive, is surrounded by 65 acres of undulating fields and woodland and would have a view out over it's own 3 acre pond. One of those things that in a way you would like to see, but on the other hand don't want to happen in your own lifetime.

rain has cleared out and is giving New England a bath now. Pretty sure that other storm will be far enough out to sea it won't affect me.
Enough storms for the year...
A warm 59 going up to 66 today in clouds.

helper coming this morning and we will work on the foundation for the new little greenhouse together, need to strip off sod,
lay down some leveling sand, and then I have plastic grates to go on the floor, one foot interlocking plastic tiles full of holes for drainage. I was going to put down rubber horse stall mats, they sure are nice on the feet, but was told not to, would insulate the earth and cut down on natural heating, which in cold weather you sure want with a greenhouse. Never owned one before, going to be interesting learning how.

Am glad I got my flu shot. A friend was supposed to come for coffee but is home sick as can be.
While in supermarket yesterday, pretty constant sound of sneezing or coughing. Uh oh.
Wash hands wash hands wash hands...

Good morning all, 41 going to 58 with a 60-30% chance of rain. No plans for today but will likely get into something.

Have a great day, prayers sent. Ed
