Drew are you still looking at John Deere tractors

Yes, but 5M vs MF4707 vs Kubota M5 vs CIH, they are all here locally which is nice.
JD was only company offering an inching feature, but rethought all of it and want a utility tractor, not compact.
leaving hydrostatic is a big hurdle for me.

temps are dropping, going to be a sunny but chilly day.
Likely our first freeze tonight. I'd better go pick whatever roses I can.

still dragging this morning but lungs seem less congested.
thanks for thoughts on kitchen island. Slowly the kitchen is getting decluttered as I figure out what to hide in there.

hope you all have a nice day.

If you must go for a manual transmission, definitely go for a Power-Reverser.

28 and going to a high of 38F. 30% chance of flurries. Wind NW 22 gusting to 28 mph. We got a skiff of snow overnight.

I got my shelter up just in time.. Now to get the junk out of the other shelter and put the hoe in. Last trip to the dump today for the Jeep, until after next summer.
I think the Jeep, hoe, M101 army trailer AND the ride on mower will all fit in a space 13X20'. I sure hope anyway.

Have a good day all

37 right now...high about 40 and clear.

Installed the rear wiper motor, then found a revised set of instructions. I'll have to remove one screw (have too anyway, since some of the hardware was not with the kit). Then comes the wiring...I've done this type of work on my previous 4400 (not a wiper kit though), but I am slow since I'm not much of an electrician.
I've also got a busy work week ahead of me...and brought some files home to work on. That might be the project today and finish up the wiper installation next weekend. I should have done this in warmer weather!

34F cloudy 40's for high winds gusty at times.

Got lot little things done yesterday...flower garden,1 riding mower hibernated for winter, some leaves blown etc.
Plans for today...leaf blowing hopes the wind will aid me,watch little football nascar etc.
Yesterday first day of moose season heard bull was check in 47" spread 640lbs.

Time to head out face the elements.
Enjoy the day all.

59° this morning and expected to get to 73° this afternoon. This may be first day to see the sun in about a week.

Hoping yard has dried up enough to cut 9 acres around the house.

Coffee cup is empty. Drank both cups before checking TBN. 33° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 46° with cloudy skies. Didn't do much yesterday. Storm blew through quickly and sent most of the leaves into field and woods next door. May get blower out and clean patio off. Maybe some NASCAR this afternoon.

Mega Millions, bought 4 sets of numbers. Not one number matched the winning numbers. :confused3:

Drew, I lived with a standard transmission tractor for years. Farmall 340 wide front. Great tractor. In 84 I bought a Kubota B7100HST. Changed my mind on tractors as I age. Now with my arm in a sling until sometime in December. I am glad they make HST.

Buppies, I will take the mild November and December.

Roy, I thought tractor work should have priority over company work. :D But then being retired has made me forget a lot of priorities.

Prayers for all.

Good Morning All.

It's 32° this morning, yesterday was nice again in the mid 60's and sunny. They are showing temperature around 60 for the next few days and mostly sunny skies.

I have some little things I'd like to get done today. I don't have any plane beyond that.

Hope everyone has a great Sunday.
CWB.

Good morning to all! Didn't get too chilly last night, only down to 48. Should be nice day today.

Have to make a dump run for sure, then a few little things to do.

We are implementing a new driver training course at work st tomorrow and Tuesday, I'm taking the instructor training course. Hopefully it will be interesting. Nothing worse than sitting in a classroom for 8 hours being bored......

Everyone have a pleasant Sunday, prayers sent out.

We watched the grandson play in the marching band yesterday. I can see how they won the Colorado competition. They put on a 'halftime' show, not just marching around. Really choreographed well. I'm always amazed how they can play an instrument, march in formation, then remember and execute complicated sidesteps, turns, and end up in a coordinated group....talk about multitasking!

We weren't able to stay for the final judging results later in the day, we're still waiting to hear of any results. It doesn't matter where they placed...it was the accomplishment that counts.

47 degrees this morning, going for a high of 67, perfect temperatures as far as I'm concerned, and it's so bright out there, I'd almost forgotten what the sun looks like.

After having endured 30 years of the very same stuff EVERY year, it was interesting the first two years
I usually fall asleep about 20 minutes into the boring lectures. Always about the log books (comic books). My dispatcher calls me out about it in the summer, well after the lecture. I remind him that I have NEVER been busted for a log book infraction/falsified log, even when I ran two books and they were scrutinized often by the D.O.T.

It is amazing how these kids can multitask.
