53 right now....high, about 55 and clear.
Main chore today is to pick up a rear wiper kit for my 4520's Curtis Cab...hopefully, install it this afternoon. I've had the tractor for 3 plus years now and have been thinking about a rear wipe...mainly because of the 3PH snow Blower.

Good morning!

Drew, Joe had his issues but he was a great blues rocker! ‘ You Are So Beautiful ‘, was our song, for Lynn and I.

Rain right now but moving out, not sure how it affects the car show. Oh well, last one this year for us and we have still got packing to do for tomorrow.
Prayers all.

38 going to a high of 41F. Wind WNW 18 gusting to 25 mph. A few rain showers.

Not a good day to finish the shelter, but it will get done. It might take 4 of us to put the roof on. Buddy is bringing his girlfriends 15 year old son with him.

Kyle, all three shelters are Shelter Logic, there is one that is not in the shot. I buy them from Canadian Tire. I always get the alpine roofs due to the snow loads. It takes about 3 hours for two people to set them up.

All our snakes have already buried themselves in the ground. I think they are living under the old hen house, but I am not going to tear it down just to inconvenience them. I like the snakes we have here. They give the cats something to do.
About 15 years ago the DIL saw a large (6') dark brown/tan snake on the road stretched out. I think she saw a water moccasin, they aren't all that common this far north, but better a moccasin than a rattler. The last rattler seen up here was about 40 years ago.

It is raining right now, so we will see if the guy I am paying to put up this shelter actually comes to finish the job. He hasn't been paid yet, so maybe he will, maybe he wont.

Always liked Cocker. I get high with a little help from my friends.

Have a good day all

Went bowhunting yesterday evening. Had about a dozen turkey vultures start landing in a tall oak about 35 yards away, one at a time. They sure are clumsy and noisy. Later a merlin (falcon) came zooming up and curved by me at eye level. I guess I know what a prey feels like. Landed about 20 yards away and starting calling.

Must have good acorn year.
"prey"...as you turn around from setting and there's male bobcat staring at you  s n e a k y.

I finally found a barber that cuts my the way I want. Wake up in the morning. Run my hand threw my hair couple of times and shake my head and all looks good. Barber (lady) is covered with tattoos from head to toes. I can live with that. Good barbers are hard to find.
I do have a full head of hair and hate to use any kind of stuff in it.

CWB, before changing brake controller, check that the brake pressure sender is working. Just replaced mine for 2nd time. It is on master cylinder, converts brake pressure to electrical signal so brake controller knows how much you are braking.

If you can drive your tractor to get it fueled, you're not rural. Lol

I moved last time (21 yrs ago) when they started building shopping center 2 miles away. It's still one of the closest, but takes 20 min to get there now.

Good thing you wasnt going down I81 last night, it was terrible. 2 large backups southbound, 1 northbound. First one in winchester. There was another accident due to the backup that caught us, once we got by we stopped to eat, after that the original backup was gone. Then another huge backup below woodstock, so we got off and took Rt 11. Rt 11 is like Rt66, except it still exists. 1645 miles long, from canada to New Orleans. Many old gas stations, motels, restaurants along it.

Felt sick most the night. Had a bad sub yesterday for lunch fron Jersey Mikes. So bad, i made an online complaint, something i never do, probably the first time. Wasn't sure which end it was going to come out of...

Nothing planned for today. Inlaws HOA had their road paved, i thought it was bad, pretty rough and bumpy for a repave.

No plans for today that I'm aware of yet. Wife will let me know..

According to the township I live in I am zoned rural, so I am rural and if it wasn't for the chains on my tractor I could drive it to town for fuel. There are 7 houses on my 1/2 mile long road. I cannot see my neighbours and that is a good thing. I also think that if you can P off your porch/deck and not offend the neighbours then you are rural.

North is at the top of the map and I am in the middle on the north side of the road

Buckeye, hope you are feeling better.
It's like your body is rejecting something poisonous and just wants it out, one way or the other.

full head of hair. Major sigh.

sitting here sweating after unpacking and lugging seriously heavy stuff out of the garage into the kitchen.
Today's project is building a rolling island, which has a black marble top. Remarkably cheap on Amazon. Wood is from Thailand,
have no idea where marble is from. Without much to grab onto, had to jam marble up into armpit and pull with one arm, and a little hip balance, and I got this 100 pounder up the stairs. About 70 pounds over my limit...
I could have just continued but figured better to take my time, make it fun.

no winners. 1 billion bucks. I think I could buy you guys some pretty cool tractors with that. Now before I throw another six bucks away, little more collective karma here please. And then go back to your online build software. :D

Good morning to all! Low of only 47 due to cloud cover. Going up to near 70 today and tomorrow. Next chance of rain comes in with a cold front on Tuesday, dropping high temps back to the low 50's.

Going to a marching band competition today. My grandson plays the tuba. Yesterday, they won the western division competition that was held in Grand Junction Co. They drove through the night to come into Albuquerque for another competition starting at 9 this morning. First time wifey and I will be seeing him play. Have to go get ready to leave, so cutting it short here.

Randy, be safe on your trip and enjoy!

Drew, don't get too frustrated if you run into any difficulties assembling the cart. It is surprising how well they make the 'breakdown' furniture these days.

Everyone have a great day! Prayers out.

It was 30° this morning, yesterday was really nice in the mid 60' almost no wind and sunny. Looks like to day is going to be a repeat of yesterday . I can live with that.

buckeyefarmer... Thanks ... but I got it changed out yesterday and it seems to work alright. The old one was put in the truck in 1998.

Still working on getting the trailer ready for the hunt and doing little things around the house. I keep finding things that needs fixed on the trailer. We haven't used it in over ten years and It needs some T L C.

Hope to make it out this evening to look for elk.

Hope everyone in joys the weekend.
CWB.
