Been kind of a rough week, haven't been feeling great all week. Some may be affects of my anesthesia last week, working it's way thru my system.

Chance of rain starting today. Need to mow for my monday picnic, but not too early.. Or mow twice, now and monday.
Garage needs more cleaning, which means move stuff to barn.
Grill needs cleaning.
Trimming needs done.

Maybe this will be my last one..

71ï½° and very foggy here this morning with forecast for 93ï½° this afternoon.

We finally beat the odds and were blessed with 3/8 of rain Tuesday afternoon and another 1/4 yesterday afternoon. That small amount more than doubled the total rain we致e had in July and August. Still less than 1 two month total but, every little bit helps. NWS indicates better than 50% rain chances, this weekend thru mid next week.

The ç*¥sual suspects? over on FP, found out that their uncivil, insensitive, behavior had been outed here on Good Morning. They immediately began a congressional investigation to determine who exposed them and the attacks began in earnest. It was amusing to say the least.

Prayers for all, including the FP crew.

It's finally cooling down a little bit today. The sun is out and its going to be a great day. I haven't heard from my little brother for several years and that maybe because of the money he owes me. Well guess what was in the mail today. It was a letter from him. It's the normal chit chat, how am I doing, he is hoping that me and my wife are well. His family is doing good, no health issues etc. and they just got back from a trip to Hawaii. I am thinking that is great but where is my money. There was more chit chat in the letter and then in closing he said this." I would have sent you the money I owe you but I see I have already sealed the envelope". Everybody have a safe holiday. took me half an hour after taking a shower to stop sweating, it's really hot out and I got some last minute mowing in before guests arrive.

I wish you luck with it, Ron. Of course, none of us would know, but you, but I'm guessing that to have the surgery in the Fall when there's less to do outside might be an advantage.

I wish you luck with it, Ron. Of course, none of us would know, but you, but I'm guessing that to have the surgery in the Fall when there's less to do outside might be an advantage.

It would be better to have surgery in November. But doctor was worried that longer I wait the less likely any repair can be made. Thank you Medicare for requiring at least a month of therapy before they would pay for the MRI. I don’t think that helped the injury at all.

Well, at least now you know, Ron. Surgery and recovery will probably be unpleasant, but not nearly as bad as just letting it go.

I have friends and relatives like that, oldtimer. I suspect many of us do. Wife and I have a friend who, during her previous marriage, was distraught over having her power shut off over unpaid bills. Wife (who was still girlfriend then) stepped in and loaned them the money (nearly $2K) to pay it and get their power back on for the sake of their kids just before winter about 10 years ago. It's still unpaid to this day. Not so much as a penny. All the Facebook posts about all the weekly woo-hoo partying she always does just burned my Wife to the point that she barely ever talks to her anymore. Has money to party every weekend, but not to pay back debts. We've lost count of how many trips to Cancun and Puerto Vallarta she's taken since then. At some point, you just come to understand that it wasn't a "loan" at all, and just write it off as gone.

Ron, good luck with arm. I never had my right arm repaired and I’m at about 70 % of normal use.

Went to doc for this sinus business this afternoon, now I have to get a blood test for some kind of condition I never heard of. Temporal Arteritis. Always something.

Be careful while your waiting for surgery - I usually aggravate my injuries.

Ouch, just not fun this aging thing sometimes.

It may not be fun but it sure beats the alternative.

I believe I can see the thunderheads from your storm out to the west since they are so high...but not a drop here. Hope no floods out your way.

Sorry to hear that. Fall and Winter are a great time to recoup strength. When Spring time comes you will be ready to go, and by Summer you will be wondering what happened to make your life so great!

If you loan somebody $2000 and never see them again..........it was probably worth it.
