Coffee is done brewing. 67° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 77° with thunderstorm throughout the day. Sold last of my gas powered Stihl and Echo yard tools. Good demand for them on Facebook Market Place. Now all I need to find is a 8 hp electric start engine for my Trak Vac. Sams Club run this morning. Trip to HD to finalize order for Kitchen Island. enjoy the cooler weather.

59 right now...high about 80 and clear today.

Chores will be a dump run and mowing...that's about it.

I'd written yesterday I bought a Ruger Bearcat Shopkeeper and would have pictures today...
Pretty small gun (that's my Zippo lighter next to it for scale)...single action, 6 rounds on .22LR. I picked it up late afternoon...I'll see how it shoots today.

Good morning all. Am running way behind where I should be these last few days. Never seem to have recovered from the airport trips. Today need to run out and stock up on food supplies.

Weather turned cooler, so much so, my pool water is like a nice bath. Suppose to go into the 90's the next couple.

Dealer still has mower. Not a happy camper here.

Wife made a trip down to the run-in. She is happy.

Small victories, I will take them where I can get them.

Give the Henry's a looksee...I had one several years ago...liked it, but I had a chance to buy a Marlin 39...sold the Henry to buy the 39. Marlin 39's are great lever action .22LR rifles...a bit hard to find though

Sat on the deck last evening about 3 hours little past 11pm listen to sounds near and far and whole lot of silent at times while enjoying couple cold spirits and smooth cigar...2 gray fox,4 deer,3 raccoons strolling in the moon light.
Plans for today...critter food run,fuel for pickup and mowers,might mow front field just putter day looks to be.
Little ones making noise wanting there breakfast sooo I better get headed.

Good morning! 70s to 100s lost of sun. Dishwasher has a small intermittent leak around door. Taking advantage of the year warranty on the house and will be waiting for the repair man.

Took class number two (out of three how to classes) of bocce ball yesterday and this newbie class (in 100˚ weather) is the largest in the sun city bocce ball club history. 59 people. Next week is testing and graduation and ice cream social. I finally found an ice-cream that is acceptable to my diet it's called "Snow Monkey". Don, Never done facebook. My mother does...and every now and then she will tell me something about one of my kids (that I don't know) that she saw on FB. Not sure I would eat something called monkey .

Good Morning!!!! 63F @ 5:45AM. Partly cloudy. Areas of smoke and haze are possible, reducing visibility at times. High near 85F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Still looking like highs will be in the 80s for the next ten days; Woo hooo! Now if we could just get a break from the smoke I could get more outside jobs done. Totals now for the Mendocino Complex fire are just shy of 425,000 acres, largest in state history. They think they'll have it contained by 9/1, but it probably won't be out until the rains start in October or November.

David, you've gotten 4/5 of our usual *annual* rain total in less than one day! Very glad all of those rooves you maintain are keeping everything snug and dry.

Finished fabrication on the main supports of the saddle bag mounts yesterday, and the epoxy I ordered to close off some of the openings on the supports arrived yesterday. Pretty good chance of getting the last few bits welded on and ready for paint today.

Still have some spraying to do this morning; the wind came up before I got a round tuit yesterday.

Got word yesterday that the second set of glasses lenses and the replacement rear fender are both ready for pickup. Figures, as I was just in town the day before.

Also got word from the mechanic that there are now two oil leaks and a coolant leak on the van, but he's got fixes in mind for all of them. Still hasn't driven it since last week, though.ullinghair:

Good morning to all! Low of 56° this morning, going up to 82°. Strong chance of showers/storms early this afternoon. No rain the past 2 days, but sure looked threatening.

BEF, hope you are able to get comfortable and that you heal quickly, prayers sent.

Don, I don't use Facebook at all...never had an interest, never will. There have been people fired at work due to what they had posted on Facebook...I'm just not into it.

Going to get outside to try and stay ahead of the rain. Want to do a few projects. I'm surprised that the weeds and grass have grown to a foot and some to 2 feet in just a week. Areas that were just dirt are now weed covered. Amazing how just a little rain transforms the land almost overnight.

Looks like the low was 48° this morning. Yesterday was in the low 80's with showers all around us but they all missed us. Looks like today is going to be about the same.

Going with a neighbor to a mountain man rendezvous this morning in Evanston Wy. There's a bigger one in Ft. Bridger next weekend. They are kind of fun to walk around. It's been a few years since I been to one.

I got a little more sleep till 9. Had a lot of discomfort.
Watched a whole season of "the office" on netflix last night. I couldnt stream before getting the AT&T mobley. Never did get my wilson amp installed yet.

My family stays in touch with a couple private facebook pages. I also manage a couple group pages, one is for my church, one is old outdoor photos. I do not use the fb app on my phone, but just moble web version.
