The picture behind was painted by my wife's cousin the son of the quilt maker.

Sharp looking boots...good style without being too fancy, in my opinion. I presume you have mastered not stepping on the Mrs.' toes, since you posted the pic. I bet it is fun. I couldn't get Dale Watson's fast/slow song out of my head yesterday while on the tractor. Cool painting.

Well, I got really mad while at the taxation bureau....they had no record of the properties/improvements being corrected. Got hold of the assessor' office manager who haphazardly "remembered" the issue. She said: "yes, everything has been corrected, I just need to send that information over to the taxation dept." I maintained my cool and asked her why it has been ongoing since May 11th, and since I first brought it to her attention on June 15th? She said "it just has to go through so many departments to be verified". I asked her: "to verify what? The county's screw-up? She got on it right away....still going to take a week to a week and a half before they have the paperwork in order. I WANT TO GET A JOB LIKE THIS!....

The worst part is that your real estate taxes are paying for this.

With the corn the silk will be all dead and when you gently squeeze the ear you feel like there is some size in there.

Yep, that's the way I always did it.

67 and clear, going to 92. We haven't hit 100 all summer that I can remember...unusual. I'd say it has seemed cooler and less humid overall this summer...only been a rare day with any haze...maybe because it has rained so much. I hope I'm not jinxing myself.

Ron, that is so beautiful to have those cranes come up to your house.

Got a haircut. Then went to the feed and seed to pick up some crimson clover seed...just read that this store has been in business over 100 years. It is one of those old warehouse buildings where the wooden floor dips way down and up as you walk through...no insulation and no A/C, so even first thing in the morning it is hot inside from the previous afternoon's heat. They use old style scales to weigh your seeds out of the bin. They have a bit of everything.

Tilled and planted one of my bigger plots. Got a couple more to do today.

After work if not to hot like to trim two steep banks ditch line...grass frowing good...tral w/this rain humidity lately.
Time for E muffin feed little critters slow roll to work.

Enjoy the day all.

Need to pour first cup of coffee. 69° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 77° with possibility of thunderstorm in afternoon. Got lawn cut yesterday. Not much planned for the day. I have a couple of small shop projects that need to be done. May get them done today.

Buckeye, I hate stations that have gas on a green handled pump (read BP). Everyone else has green or yellow for diesel. Both our cars are E85/Flex fuel. But only run 10% or less ethanol gas.

Drew, seen a nice Farmall A on Facebook yesterday. :D

Don, good looking boots.

Good Morning All.

Good evening all. 75F this morning, partly cloudy, light wind. Wind came up quick this morning, sky cleared off and high temp was 96F. Men's meeting this morning, bike ride, and trip to town for paper work, mower gas and gas for truck and quick grocery hit.
Don nice boots.
Buckeye, let me guess, the car is rated for 10% max alcohol and not running well. Can you get E0?
Bird the grass here has gone bonkers on 3 days rain.
Ed congrats on the lathe, have fun with it :drink:
Billie, hope Coco does well with the Lyme's recovery and you don't get it.
Prayers for all
It's running ok, but should only have E10. Once i saw what she did, i turned pump off, and put about 3 gal of E10 in to full.
