Good morning to all! (Good evening actually) started out abut cooler this morning at about 48°. Went up to 88° in town, only to 78 at home. Tonight supposed to have t-storms lurking about. We did get a good downpour for about an hour, finally got about 1/2" of rain. Hopefully more coming.
Drew, our water costs are variable. They charge $4.97 per 1000 gals up to 10,000 gal. The next stage is $6.88 per 1000 gal, up to 15,000 gal, then jumps up to $7.55 per 1000 gal over 15,000 gal usage. During the summer, when I use the drip irrigation on the landscape, I average between 11K and 15K gal per month. My last months bill was for 12,000 gal and I paid $68. A strange thing here is that you have to "join" the co-op, which is a one time fee of $6500. This "membership" remains with the house / property. If you build on a vacant property, you have to join again. (This is what is happening with my subdivided (adjoining property) lot right next door.
Spent the day outside at work today, had all the new "kids" out for the driving course. Some were pretty good, others not so much... Sure hope the insurance premiums were paid.... Back at it tomorrow again.
Everyone have a great Friday / end of the week. Prayers sent, everyone stay safe.
