1.2 inches in 35 minutes.

I didn't get near that much, but just a tiny little cell developed right over us, and in a lot less than 30 minutes, we had thunder, pouring down heavy rain, and a north wind that blew leaves and rain all the way through the breezeway/patio. Then it just stopped, so I blew the water off the patio, and dumped another .30" of rain out of the gauge. With .48" early this morning, the yard got watered a bit, but we'd sure like to see even more.

They can be sharpened. I got a Delta wet grinder off EBAY last week. This will be my first sharpening with it.

Ron, if that is the same Delta wet grinder as mine, it will work great to sharpen the knives on your flail mower too.

On some of these newer cars, you can't find them, even if you know what they are.

I have a Saturn in my yard and my daughters Dodge minivan both have the plugs located under the intake manifold, you have to remove the intake to get to the coil packs or plugs.
What genius dreamt that system up.

Good morning to all! (Good evening actually) started out abut cooler this morning at about 48°. Went up to 88° in town, only to 78 at home. Tonight supposed to have t-storms lurking about. We did get a good downpour for about an hour, finally got about 1/2" of rain. Hopefully more coming.

Drew, our water costs are variable. They charge $4.97 per 1000 gals up to 10,000 gal. The next stage is $6.88 per 1000 gal, up to 15,000 gal, then jumps up to $7.55 per 1000 gal over 15,000 gal usage. During the summer, when I use the drip irrigation on the landscape, I average between 11K and 15K gal per month. My last months bill was for 12,000 gal and I paid $68. A strange thing here is that you have to "join" the co-op, which is a one time fee of $6500. This "membership" remains with the house / property. If you build on a vacant property, you have to join again. (This is what is happening with my subdivided (adjoining property) lot right next door.

Spent the day outside at work today, had all the new "kids" out for the driving course. Some were pretty good, others not so much... Sure hope the insurance premiums were paid.... Back at it tomorrow again.

Everyone have a great Friday / end of the week. Prayers sent, everyone stay safe.

Good evening all. 73F this morning (cold front made it through), cloudy, calm wind. Wind was moderate today mostly cloudy most of the gay and high temp of 92F. Bike ride this morning, bike maintenance, and drive to Sherman to pick up Volagi.
PJ crowds at the '92 Open were very well behaved, not your typical crowd.
Bird you have me beat in the rain dept. got .3 in rain Wed. and Wed. night.
Prayers for all

More mowing done, only about another hour left. Took a break before attempting last area, weather moved in. Silly me, thought it would pass. Been raining on and off ever since. More rain and windier than Hector. Went back out and parked the tractor. Tomorrow

A very pleasant 62 right now...not humid at all. High in the upper 70's and clear. After work, I've got to mow since looks like more rain coming through tomorrow.

There's a rumour going around here that a drop or two of rain may be coming our way too. It's expected to stay much cooler for a few days, which will suit me just fine. Hot weather seems to make me lazy, content to stay in the shade and not move far.

We were sat outside a caffe yesterday and from the corner of my eye I saw something topical to Good morning that at first I thought of walking closer to and taking a picture from a different angle. I was too comfy (lazy) to get up from my chair though and as we haven't had a "spot the snake" pic for a while, I just snapped away from where I was sat.

Could be fun if, when you see it, you give a clue to what it is (mine is only that it's not a snake), but don't say where, so the late risers still have something to search for :)

69 going to 90. The stars are great outside this morning...reminded me the Perseids are Sunday.

Eric, does your puzzle have to do with RNG? I think I spotted something he'd like.
