Poured first cup of coffee. 62° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 81° with thunderstorms midday. Did some small repairs around house. HF packages did not show up until late in the day. So I can put them together today. Today I need to do Garden Pond maintenance. Algae is starting to show up around rocks. PT this morning. Hope to get released back to Ortho Dr. and get a MRI or whatever to see what problem is.

Drew, best wishes for a good doctor visit.

Good Morning All.

Drew, best of luck, you’ll still be your handsome self!

No rain in the forecast after around 4 “ since Saturday. But looks like bottom could fall out any time.

Need to mow, visit mom, work on Ellen’s El Camino and several other things. I’ll do what I do I guess.

Everyone have a fine day and prayers to all with a little extra for Drew, Buppies and LS.

Good Morning!!!! 80F @ 5:00 AM. Sunny. High 104F. Winds W at 5 to 10 mph.

At least you remembered to put something on your nose, Drew. Easy to mix up medications when there are too many around. DAMHIKT!:confused2:

It was 84 inside the house when I turned on the A/C yesterday, Eric, and about 4:30 in the afternoon. According to the Davis weather station outside, the low last night was 79.3F, and that A/C has been running all night. Temps down in the 60s again would be very nice indeed, but we might have to wait several months for them to return from wherever they’ve gone.:( Yesterday’s high was 105.5F:shocked:

I thought the engine on the BMW I’m working on was dirty until I took the transmisson down yesterday and got a look at it. It had been sent out for reconditioning, but the case on it was absolutely FILTHY! The oil on it was baked on hard, and I spent four hours cleaning just one side of it. My fingers are so stiff this morning my touch typing isn’t coming out the way it should. I’ve been accumulating the special tools needed to take one apart, and was fed up enough to take out the last piece I need and finish it so I can take this one apart and throw the carcass into the bead blaster. Years ago I’d saved off the URLs for a series of seven videos on taking one apart, reconditioning the parts, and putting it back together, but only started watching them last night. Despite all the mystery the pro mechanics try to generate, there’s nothing special in there, or very complicated, either. The parts are expensive if gears or shafts need replacing, but supposedly all that has been taken care of on this one. I suppose I’ll see for myself once I have it apart...

Hang in there, folks, Friday’s comin’!

Here’s something you don’t see every day: Four mountain lions on your porch. I’ve seen tracks in the driveway dust here, and heard them mewling in the night as they hunt, but not seeing them I think is better than this. These four have no fear at all of man, and that’s just plain unhealthy. At least this gang is in Colorado...

68 this morning and headed to 88 today. Currently 80.

Will probably get the Bush hog back on tractor now that all my hay is hauled in, sorted and stacked. Helper has about half the mowing done. So he’s going to finish that. Then we are headed out to the arena where the boys do their horse riding therapy. They are baling small squares today and we offered help. Said 250-300 is expected. So I’ll take my helper who has never hauled hay before. he asked me what to expect. I just grinned and said fun. Really shouldn’t be a bad day. Me and Dad used to do 200 after school and work by our selves. But I was younger then.

Happy anniversary.

Drew. Good luck with nose job. :).

Hah,

I recall those days too. Now I am lucky enough just to put up 200 bales in the loft in one day. Last year I think it was over a period of three days.

I'll blame the heat and humidity. LOL.

The low was 49* this morning, yesterday was 91* and partly cloudy. Today is going to be around 90* with a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon.

Steppenwolfe... Happy anniversary to you and your wife.

Going to make another trip in to town this morning to do some shopping.

I keep finding things that needs fixed on the trailer. How it's the wiring for the brakes. I'll work on that when we get back.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Good morning! 74 heading to 101. 9th day in a row 100+.
Had inside spinning class yesterday so outside biking this morning. Still no luck finding shoes and cleats. Might have to order on line and be prepared to return them till I get proper fit.

Wife found place in Rockport that makes dancing boots that feel like sneakers. Never had a shoe issue in the country.
