Lots of folks wait until they are empty on the propane tank, years ago the delivery driver told us to get propane in summer when price is down. We do like to take our Hawaii vacations in winter though.. :)

Back home from camping. Had 1 detour because of flooding.

Camped at Pine Grove Furnace State Park, just south of Carlisle PA. Nice park with a couple small lakes. Half way point on the Appalachian Trail. Saw a few through hikers at the general store. One was going to do the 1/2 gallon ice cream challange.

Need to find where the leak is on the camp. Location is near the roof transitions to the front. 0721181018.jpeg0721180958.jpeg0722181118.jpeg

65 this morning and currently 73. Nice day but showers and thunderstorms forecast. Already rained once.

Have spent the last two days truck shopping. Finally settled on one. 2018 Ram 2500 Crew cab Tradesman white with a Cummins. Has factory gooseneck also. Was satisfied with trade in offer also. I bought my current truck for 18k 8 years ago. Trade in offer was 9k. I took it. Sure didn’t think I’d get that for a gas truck with 185,000 miles. New truck wasn’t on dealers lot. It’s setting in Nashville, Tennessee at a DC. Be in by end of month. Pictures when it arrives. It’ll sure be nice to tow heavy again and not worry about the truck. Mine was getting long in the tooth.

Drew. Nice jester for the snake. Most would have killed it and not bothered to identify.

Found source of camper roof leak. There is sealer along the roof to front transition, and it had some large cracks. Put on some silicone caulk cause i had a tube. As soon as i got done, thunder, starting to rain. No time for caulk to set, but it is what it is. Better than just leaving the crack.

Farmer, congrats on new truck. My 2008 2500 HD crew only has 30k miles.

Thanks. Current truck is 2006 2500HD Crew 6.0 4x4. Of course new truck is also 4x4. Bought used in 2010 with 100k miles. This is my first new vehicle ever. So I’m excited but also nervous.

Hopefully you found your leak.

Maybe I should take up spinning.

Or get a Cat Eye Vectra CC-7000, oh wait they don't make the vintage odometer anymore.

It also helps to start off down hill. Going up hill I'm also at 8mph.

No bike today, may spin later, just got back from moms and already 101˚ and rising quickly.

Best repair for RV roof is Dicor & Eternabond tape. Never use silicone unless nothing else is available.

I did not mention that uphill was 4 mph. I have a odometer that shows mph and distance. The miles seem long. Roads are square miles here.

Buckeyefarmer.

I agree with ronjhall about Eternabond tape. I just replaced the roof vents on my camper a few day's ago. It rained a few minutes ago and I went out to look and there wasn't any leaks that I could see. All the reviews I've read gave it 4 or 5 stars. It's kind of expensive but it looks like it will work, it will be worth it.

jbrumberg.

I was thinking if I had bigger hummingbird feeders I wouldn't have to fill them 3 times a day.
They are fun to watch.

Farmer, sounds like a really nice truck. Probably last nearly forever.

I just bought a roll of Eternabond tape 2 weeks ago...haven't used it yet, but glad to hear your positive comments.

I had the air compressor out this afternoon and all the talk of bikes led me to fill up the 25 year old tires on my old 10-speed...oiled the chain and pulled it back onto the sprocket, and decided to take it for a spin. Felt good, so rode it for 12. A thunderstorm threatened so I rushed back...fortunately it only blew cool swift wind here, on its way up to riptides. Oh yeah, the 12 I rode were laps around the driveway. Now if I could put a suspension seat on the bike like the ZTR I could really get back into it.

Our mail people (we have both men and women on our route) will bring packages to the door when they don't fit the box, also. I guess I always thought they had to.

Does you bike odometer show one mile on those one mile roads?
You might need to adjust the odometer according to the wheel circumference in cm. Or inches. When I exchanged batteries mine went to the default of 216 which had to be adjusted to 210 according to the rider on bike revolution measurement of one wheel revolution measured in cm. (Sounds confusing - I hope i got it right, might have to have my wife drive behind me in the car to verify if the speed is accurate.)

The mail lady still drops off big packages at the front door last week, and when I talked to her she said nothing about changes.

Mom decided she needs a fall detector/call button. She has a non-smart phone and a landline. Any suggestions?
