Over the years I have "specilized" in a variety of wines and whiskies. Maybe it is the meds I am on or was on, but I rarely get/got hangovers. Now it's probably more related somewhat better (age related) self control and consuming/ingesting a higher class of intoxicating chemicals and beverages. The only exception with the post-consumption "feeling poorly" is the closest microbrewery 14 miles down the road. I get headaches looking at the place.

I agree about the tequila "blanco's" and the strict avoidance of Jose Cuervo tequilas.

My blood sugar "experiment" is revealing a "significant" reduction in my sugar levels when I take CBD oil in addition to watching what i eat/drink, calorie counting, and maintainig some level of physical activity. Something is + going on with the CBD receptor sites in my pancreas(?).

Now I need to find a boat rental. Had 3 boats.
Randy got the microcell. Now to figure out how to connect to AT&T and router/modem.

Don, microcell should just get cable from router and power, set up online. In my case, our address isn’t in the USPS database so it took a second level tech to program at AT&T then it worked fine. Most difficult part was getting past the initial tech support that felt they had all the answers. Fortunately, I had a friend navigate the process about a month ahead of me and alerted me to the pitfalls.

Not yet, but there are 5 pools and I've only seen two.
Today I'm busy changing locks and then I'll start on the microcell, wait it's 4pm, I'm done for the day!

76 degrees and clear skies this morning. NWS thinks we'll hit the 100 mark today . . . unfortunately.

The above was posted at 6:37 a.m. Then it got a bit cloudy; not rain clouds, but kept the bright sunlight down, so the NWS lowered the forecast to 98 degrees. Then by noon, the clouds disappeared and we got the sun; full force. And now at 4:26 p.m., NWS says it is currently 102 degrees.:laughing: I sure need to do some mowing before the weekend is over.

Ok, knew it was bad luck to work past 4 on a Friday. Plugged in the microcell and now no power to the house, or the street. Trying to call utilities but only 1 bar.

Productive afternoon started with a nap. Then looked at truck brakes again, couldnt budge the bottom caliper bolt, and cant even get socket on top one due to leaf springs.
Still overcast and raining, on and off all day. Only 66° but humid.
Put together HF welding table i picked up the other day.
Cleaned riding mower deck, and sharpened blades. Put my grinder on the new HF table. I should get new blades, mine are 10 yo originals. Put new honda in to change transmission fluid, but too tired to start that now, and it's supper time.

Cleaned up in the garage some more this morning. Was running over to the storage unit and saw a friend from 25 years ago and was chatting with him and the phone rang. It was the trucking Co, will be at your house in 15 min. Rushed home and got the driveway clear. The guy came and rolled the crate into the garage. Spent the rest of the day looking at all of the new toys. Everything looks good except the end mills did not come with it. Can't think of when I smiled so much in a good while.

RNG, I have never posted a pic before but will try Saturday. Ed

Sounds like it might be time to look into a backup generator setup, Don. Or just put in a solar array and pull the plug entirely!:laughing:

Won't be long before you're knocking out little ditties like this next time you need a puller or other specialty tool to fix something. This one took three hours this morning; fifteen seconds later the lock nut it fits was tight. I used a brass drift and a hammer to get it off, but no more...

Holler if you get stuck on uploading the pichers. Once you click on the little icon that looks like a tree in a box, it usually goes pretty smoothly...

Microcell can’t get established, might have to get a long cord to put it by a window. Electricity was out for only an hour and i was not blamed for it. I did not have to start my small generator that I forgot about until RNG’s post.

Gray 2 seems to be content on a leash as he and whipper watch an evening golfer.

Good evening all. 78F this morning, cloudy, calm wind. wind picked up about 10, gusts to about 18 mph ENE direction, sky was cloudy and rain fell nearby but not here, and high of 94F. Supposed to have cold front go through, but wind forecast says it won't . Bike ride this morning, water plants at stepdaughters go to town and grocery shop and dinner.

Yea it’s working, I have 5 bars now on m-cell 4g. But it sure sucked a lot of energy from the neighborhood and I’m probably going to get a letter from the HOA.
