The home depot one Ron found was good and a good price I'll have to compare with Harbor freight. This one at Lowe's would be perfect if it was on sale, had a wood top, and not discontinued. I got one of these workbenches Middle picture when on sale at Sam's Club and a rolling tool cabinet (middle photo in second link) that fits under one side. I'm been real pleased. Assembly required .

OK Ya'll have shamed me into getting a larger work bench. I was thinking of one that could be rolled around and have tool storage drawers underneath it. Help me spend money, which one to get? 4-5 feet long preferably. A wood top where I could attach a vice to would be a plus. Any suggestions?

How much space do you have to turn one around? What's your strength? A 4 footer would be more manageable and you could not load as much. OR you could get a 4 footer and put a 6' sheet of good 3/4 plywood on top for the big projects.

Don, I bought two of HF痴 tool cabinets and installed a Home Depot 10 Formica counter top on them. The rollers are pretty good and lots of storage. Maybe a single for you?

I second the HF offerings, just MAKE SURE you inspect it IN THE STORE before hauling it home. They are notorious for having damage even though the box looks perfect.

When I bought my 26" 16 drawer top & bottom tool chest back in 2016 neither box showed any damage to the cardboard. I looked at the top cabinet, but didn't have them open the bottom cabinet box. When I got it home and took them out of the boxes the bottom cabinet had a bent "lip" on top. No big deal but shows it was packaged damaged.

I did want to ask you all. I have little gnat/no seeum bugs that I think is from the overgrown vegetation that I'm clearing but can you recommend a spray that I could use in the interim ? 10 acres is going to take me a bit.<snip>

Lenny - Having been in Vermont from about 1960 through 1980 I know gnats and I HIGHLY advise investment in mosquito head nets, plus eat a LOT of garlic

I'm now plagued by deer flies and horse flies in Mississippi, I've got about a 50 yard walk between shop and house which is a virtual gauntlet of attacking, biting insects. Head nets work for everybody that will put them on. Garlic works for me (but others don't like it ).

71 this morning and headed to 94 today. Rain chances increase tomorrow.

Yesterday was our 13th anniversary so we celebrated by going to eat and then doing some shopping. We didn’t see any movies that interested us. Used to be able to find something on to watch but not lately. Did have a nice Atlantic Salmon BLT and a chocolate Bourbon Pecan pie with ice cream.

Bought a new trailer last month. 16ft 7k with rear gate. It’s light duty but ranger fits nicely. And mower. Also will haul 3-4 bales of hay. But it has a set back jack(so tailgate will open) and the trailer youngest boxes won’t fit it. So looking for another idea for storage. Also wanting to get a spring assist put on the gate. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Kyle. Incisions are healing nicely. Still have to watch what I do. Dad was going to come do the garden but wife insisted she could. I’m calm about most things and don’t show my self often but I can. Most people don’t ever see me get excited. I do most of my talking with my checkbook. These guys are nuts if they think they will ever do more than small maintenance jobs again for me. There’s another show in town. Might not be any better.

75°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 92° today. Chance for rain/storms every day now until next Wednesday. Cooler weather should hit around Thursday-ish, with a high of 79° forecast for Friday. That will definitely be a welcome respite from this heat. We could use some rain as well.

It was 44* for the low this morning, yesterday was cool and windy. Today looks like a chance of showers this morning and party cloudy by this afternoon with high in the low 70's. It didn't make it out of the 60's yesterday.

Have some house cleaning to do this morning then work on some project in the garage.

The Doctor appointment and X-ray went well. Been having some pain in my right arm, probably some arthritis. Got a appointment orthopedic doctor next Monday.
The topper of the day was doctor from last weeks test wants to do a biopsy. Giving the lady a rough kidding time. I told she should not be allowed to call a person on there Birthday to make that kind of appointment. Got her laughing so much she had to take a short time to get herself back the subject she called about. Another Monday appointment 7/3.

Hi everyone. ...
4 year old granddaughter finally wore her mom out why she couldn't come to see me. We had been keeping it a secret till they moved in on the first but she knew I was in town and why couldn't she go be with me. Poor mom showed up Sunday morning with her in tow. Shoulda seen that running hug when she saw me! It's made all the labor and stress of moving worth it.

You get to make some good memories!
