Well, some good news this morning...my Woodmaxx 8H chipper has been shipped. I expect it will be delivered next week...unfortunately, I'll be in Connecticut Monday through Wednesday.

I wear a wide brimmed straw hat but cloth floppy is better, gotta get one.

Flowering trees did poorly here as well.

The cherry trees lose leaves from dry stress, they will do that several times a year if it’s very dry.

Ron full head of hair here too but still had 2 in my head. I do tan as well. Maybe the old farmers who wore long sleeves and straw hats years ago were on to something
I hope I am wrong about Sunblock. But it seems anymore there is a risk in anything we use or do.

57 outside this AM. Should be a great day.
Thanks for the anti-glue advise on the breadboard. Will try a chemical solution this week. Now have a plumbing issue in my other house. Trying to find a leak. On top of that... returned to full time job. So endth my retirement. Officially over.
Count me in as no fan of the health insurance industry. Insert big sigh here.

Have a great day all. Be safe. Good fortunes to you.

Lots of flowering trees around here. Mostly white. Our Eastern Red Bud is in bloom. But is under performing.

Good morning! 61˚ heading to the nineties. Big cloth floppy hat here and an occasional stray hat. Baseball caps leave the ears and sides of face too exposed. A light long sleeve does seem cooler in the summer keeping the direct sunlight off the arms, but decreasing air circulation brings the temp right back up.

The clutch sprocket for my chain saw should be here today and I can finish fixing the chainsaw and get a project off the workbench. The gears on the sprocket were worn this is the second time they are being replaced.

I can't remember if I posted about the washing machine repair. We replaced the door boot on the front loading washing machine. It leaked, redid it and tighten the band tighter, it leaked at another different place, took it apart the third time clean the soap dispenser connection to the boot, no leaks, yea. The guy on youtube was very good and fast, he did it in 5 minutes it took me 45 minutes the first time, 30 minutes each subsequent time to disassemble it and assemble it.

Have a good day!

68 degrees this morning, going for a high of 89. I have a weird (to me, at least) eye problem, and wonder if anyone else has had anything like it. A little background: nearly 7 years ago, an optometrist sent me to an ophthalmologist (#1)and I had cataract surgery first on one eye, then a month later on the other eye. Then he sent me to another ophthalmologist (#2) who did retina surgery first on one eye, then a month later on the other eye. Then a little more than 3 years ago, I had strabismus surgery on my right eye by a third ophthalmologist (#3) to whom I was sent by #2. Then, last August, my vision had gotten bad in my right eye, so it was back to #2 who sent me to #1 who did laser surgery on the right eye that fixed that problem, but brought back the strabismus. Ophthalmologist #3 gave me some eye exercises to do that fixed it this time (we had tried those before he did the surgery 3 years ago and they didn't work then). Now the last 2 or 3 months I've had a problem that I've taken a lot of time to try to narrow down the cause. I finally realized that when I have a problem reading something (which is most of the time), I can cover (or just close) my right eye and read it with my left eye just fine. On the other hand, if I cover my left eye, and look at something with just my right eye, sometimes some letters are missing, power lines show some weird shapes, an Amsler Grid shows wavy lines, etc. So yesterday, it was back to #1 and after a number of tests, he said I have swelling in the back of my right eye, and he made an appointment for me to see #2 tomorrow.

I know/understand the reasons/benefits of specialization, but it can sure be difficult to understand which doctor to go to and when. But when I mentioned that to #1 yesterday, he said that I was right in coming to him, AND they made an appointment for me to come back to see him again in 6 months.

I don't know what the temperature is this morning, the sun is in my eyes and cannot read the thermometers, but it is going to a high of 75. Wind E 10 mph. Mainly sunny. Periods of rain tomorrow.

I got the genny line buried yesterday. Not as deep as I would like it, but I can always ramp over it. I will have lots of dirt left over from the grave digging.

I will get the hole dug today. It is already marked out.
That is about all I will do today.

Bird; I think all your eye Dr.s see you as a 'cash cow'. The trouble is that you really cannot screw around with your eyes, because you really will not like the alternative. Being blind is no fun.

Have a good day all

Good morning.
My tractor is wearing me out! I replaced a steering cylinder and hose. It ran without any leak there and things were working fine for about 20 minutes then hydraulic fluid started to squirt out at the bottom of the double acting valves. What could cause that? Can those valves be fixed? They are $300 a piece new. A few hundred here a few hundred there and soon I will have paid for a new tractor.

Sunny and warm today. Did I tell you that one of my AC is not doing well?
Good day to all y'all.

My goodness. I hope you get your eyes taken care of soon.
