Good morning!!!!

After a 4am start time yesterday, I was tired by noon, had to work until 5pm though... didn't sleep well last night, too tired I think. Homeless daughter came and loaded up the loft we built Monday in new storage shed. They should be signing closing papers this morning on their land, then they are taking a few days off and going to Seattle. That will give my wife and I some time to at least look at the new shower door (glass) we ordered that arrived with box badly damaged, but glass appears intact and parts there. We will inventory and make sure things are all there. I'll study the instructions and perhaps we can install this weekend.

82 yesterday, showers overnight, cooler today.

Bird, my wife goes to a Eye Clinic for her eye care. It’s run by University of Michigan medical center. So far they have done all the treatments she had needed. Shingles in the eye. Cataract surgery and now Glaucoma. So far no other surgery like you have had.

65°F and 1.8 inches last 24 hours. Could be another inside day.

Clean up in the tractor shed

Drew, I wish those lucky people appreciate your hard work.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Projects are done the day. Setting on porch reading this mornings post. Great day to rest.
Enjoy the porch time. I love sitting on the porch, when still a little too cool for bugs. Last night was great.

Lifestyle changes require time, "research" and changes in established life patterns as many of you already know. A lot of you here helped me/us take some risks and make some changes.

Dr. Greger has some new research out today on Fiber. Why it is important in fighting inflammation and heart disease and how to find out if your food has enough fiber by reading the label.
The new 5 to 1 Rule.
What you should look for in labels.
The Five to One Fiber Rule | NutritionFacts.org
For every 5 grams of carbohydrates there should be one gram of fiber to pass the test. he goes through some examples in the short video, which ones fail and which ones pass.

odd thought, I wonder how David's four inches of rain did near the lava flows. Must have been pretty steamy around there...
Hope that calms down. Talk about living on a powderkeg.

Can’t answer that Drew. I know they got rain (saw on TV news) but no idea how much. Really varies here. Just down our road, I know they got less, but friends who live just a few miles as the crow flies about similar elevation couldn’t make it home Monday night due to high water crossing their road ( fairly common for them).
I don’t recall the news people making issue of the rain nor seeing anything remarkable in the footage.
The wonder of it all is amazing, but over shadowed by the devastating affects to many.

The talk of burying the Propane tank reminds me of when I first started to school in the first grade, we had a buried tank. Later we moved to a place that had an above ground tank. Now I remember being told that "Propane" tanks were above ground and "Butane" tanks were buried. Is there any truth to that?
