40 degrees out, last "cold" morning in forecast.
Arms and hands really hurt this morning from hoeing. This plantation work is hard...

L4N, does running hot water
over the sore parts help? And you are taking it easy, right?
Going to line up some easier jobs for today and just cool it this morning.
I like to be in the garden during my usual church time, gets me thoughtful.
While my faith has no ministers or preachers, I like to think of a big fat bumblebee talking to me
as it hops from one beautiful purple flower on the snow peas to another.
Mostly, the last two days have had me thinking of you. Enormous, and I mean thousands, of bicycle riders converged on our little City.
Went downtown by the docks yesterday morning and couldn't believe it. Every square inch taken up, no places to park for sure, and hundreds of tents pitched all over, plus hundreds more rv's of every kind and shape. Wow what a lot of bicycles, and best part, both days they came up and around my farm. Once they went down the next road, past my infamous falling down neighbor's farm, and yes, they slowed down to look...
Yesterday they went past the front while I was out planting flowers and shrubs. Most waved back, only one instance of a local being a moron passing them too fast, clearly indignant about being slowed down a little. Share the road fool. He pulled so wide in his truck to go around the pack he almost hit me on the other side mowing the roadside. The bicycle riders and I just shook our heads together. Lot of the riders yesterday looked older, and no one was going fast in this event. But the colors, oh the colors, every bright shiny color in the rainbow going past, like
exotic birds!
