Who would have thought that from now on when orange tractors are mentioned on TBN, it's not Kubota or even Kioti that first come to mind, from now on it will be the mighty Goldoni
Yep. The new ones are solid orange, no more green at all: Products | Goldoni The equivalent of the two I own is the "My Special". And, if you're willing to have a green color, the former Yugoslav company Labinprogres TPS makes them under license. I just saved a ton of money getting repair parts from Slovenia and a TPS dealer rather than buying from Italy. You, Eric, could actually run in to a Goldoni in the UK. AFAIK, they've never been sold to the US.
The next week of freezing weather is good for me. I need to get up the hill to cut some dead cherries for firewood and frozen ground gives a lot more traction than muddy. Likewise, the sheep I bought last week come with a barn of hay for the taking, but the only access is over a dirt track, so I can get the van and trailer there while its frozen.
daugen, I work a lot at the computer, so I was hunting for a good chair last year. The chair I got is OK, but not enough head support. What occurred to me is that the best sort of chairs with adjustable recline that you are comfortable in for hours is a car chair (which, also here, I see a lot of people put in their tractors). I got a chair from my friend who parts out cars, same kind as my car. I just need to make some sort of stand for it with wheels.
