Who would have thought that from now on when orange tractors are mentioned on TBN, it's not Kubota or even Kioti that first come to mind, from now on it will be the mighty Goldoni

Yep. The new ones are solid orange, no more green at all: Products | Goldoni The equivalent of the two I own is the "My Special". And, if you're willing to have a green color, the former Yugoslav company Labinprogres TPS makes them under license. I just saved a ton of money getting repair parts from Slovenia and a TPS dealer rather than buying from Italy. You, Eric, could actually run in to a Goldoni in the UK. AFAIK, they've never been sold to the US.

The next week of freezing weather is good for me. I need to get up the hill to cut some dead cherries for firewood and frozen ground gives a lot more traction than muddy. Likewise, the sheep I bought last week come with a barn of hay for the taking, but the only access is over a dirt track, so I can get the van and trailer there while its frozen.

daugen, I work a lot at the computer, so I was hunting for a good chair last year. The chair I got is OK, but not enough head support. What occurred to me is that the best sort of chairs with adjustable recline that you are comfortable in for hours is a car chair (which, also here, I see a lot of people put in their tractors). I got a chair from my friend who parts out cars, same kind as my car. I just need to make some sort of stand for it with wheels.

Good morning! 50 all night long, dreary and drizzle. Supposed to hit 70s today.
All this fruit tree talk has me wondering how Lynn’s apple tree will do this year. It was full of fruit last year for the first time and I looked out one morning and the deer had eaten nearly the whole tree.
Got some of the wiring done yesterday but never got the lights or extra cable I need.
Have a good day.

the new Buick Regal which is a rebadged German Opel

Haven't heard the Opel mentioned in a while. In 1973, I bought a new Winnebago Brave; smallest class A motorhome made back then. So I needed a little car to tow behind it. The VW was the most popular back then, but even older ones also cost too much. I found a "new" (never been sold), three year old Opel Cadet at the local Buick/Opel dealership and that's what we towed behind the motorhome.:D

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 39° with cloudy skies and wind gust over 30 mph. Heading to 42° with more wind and some sun late afternoon. Going to do another rest day. With NASCAR in afternoon. Will try to call Don after church today.

Freedom, nice pictures.

RNG, which Roomba did you order with a Camera?

Prayers for those in need.

Good Morning All.

28 and going to 41 with rain showers. Wind ESE 27 gusting to 38mph. Another freezing rain warning in effect.

I gotta pull the cards out of the game cameras today and see what has been visiting overnights. If I see anything good I will post it.

That is about all I am going to do today...Sunday, a day of rest.

Have a safe day all,

Good Morning!!!! 41F @ 5:00AM. Sunny skies this morning will become overcast during the afternoon. High near 55F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Looks like a mild system comes in overnight, but with a low below freezing, there could be a skiff of snow on the ground when I wake up tomorrow. March is looking like it will come in like a lion, with stronger storms and lower temps predicted for the end of next week. We shall see.

Fingers are crossed here for all your plants, Drew, in hopes Mother Nature smiles warmly on them and keeps her frost farther north.

I'm glad you're taking a cautious approach to entering your water cistern, Eric. It would make a wonderful mausoleum, but I wouldn't want to see you take a test drive to prove it.

I was wondering how the Goldoni was able to pull so hard with only front wheel drive, but the PTO shaft to the rear wagon wheels cleared up that mystery, FL. Are there other implements that also use the PTO?

Off to see my friend's widow today, and what kind of progress she's made in cleaning out his shop. She says she has a pile of old motorcycle parts and another of Vanagon parts, and three BSA engines my neighbor is very much looking forward to. She's more on a re-homing binge than wanting money, a good thing because it's unlikely I'll want/need any of what's there. But I'll at least haul it away for her, and swing by the scrap metal place next week when I'm in town to get rid of it for her. But you never know what you'll run across in these situations, and I'll make sure she's aware of any diamonds in the ruff that she's uncovered.:confused2:

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend...

Plans for today... putter and more puttering might even do some cooking.

Enjoy the day all.
