"......... now it feels like something positive has happened. One less empty hole in life. Probably makes no sense to anyone but me."- Randy

It makes perfect sense and is eloquently posted. I am happy to read this; hopefully each day one less hole to fill. Thanks for sharing.

Wouldn't that mixture coagulate? Not a pretty "visual"

decided to do the potatoes differently, a compromise...
Cutting the Red La Soda potatoes in half produced one full row, versus almost two rows finessing all possible potato eyes.
The La Sodas were bigger potatoes, more fully eyed, and putting the whole thing in would be a waste to me.
So I decided to leave the second two bags to do for another time, not rush it and space the plantings apart so that not everything came in at once.
Cutting them in half was fast and brainless, took half the time and less to cut since potatoes were bigger. All in all a much easier time than the first batch.

Lent my little Massey to my fireman neighbor to clear some brush across the street. He's very careful with equipment, an engineer at work used to working on machinery.

It's nice to see the Spring flowers and colors start to come out. Fruit orchard is just starting to bloom, peach, pear and apple flowers starting.

daugen,
I have visions of you with a meat cleaver and the potatoes all lined up and chopping them in two.
A little Tai-Che and a cleaver and you get your spuds cut and some exercise too.

Good evening all. 66F for the start, overcast windy and light fog, and .1 inch rain in the gauge. Most of the day looked like it would rain, high temp was 72F, and wind was erratic and gusty at times. Choir practice this morning, followed by trip to town to get permanent crown put in and haircut. and new wipers for van. Bike ride this afternoon, took the ten speed out and made my best time for the loop this year :).

Finally got around to trying out the flat, amplified tv antenna i bought back in Nov. It didnt work. Amazon agreed to take it back, even though return date was past. I explained i had health issues and couldnt try it sooner. I got no signal with it. Checked all the cables, they worked ok with my temporary deck mount antenna. Ordered a yagi style.

Been on a cleaning spree. Had 2 extra bags for the trashman today, and already filled the can for next week. Don't really need to keep 15 yr old antivirus software. Plenty more stuff to go. Keeping piles of rca cables, but tossed a parallel printer. Found some tools i couldnt locate.
Who takes old ups batteries?
Cutting up cardboard boxes for recycle. Got hundreds, maybe over 1000 of empty pellet bags, should toss the older ones. We use them as trash bags for a couple trash cans.

My oldest IP 720p cameras stopped working, all doing the same thing. Its like the new dvr recorder messed them up.ordered 1 new 3mp one to try, prices have really come down.

I am so far behind with stuff because of my past health issues. Nice feeling better and getting stuff done again.
Prayers for those suffering yet.

When i got home saw an animal in back field, thought maybe a cat, but was too big. Got binoculars, looked like coyote or a bobcat. It ran as i started looking at it.

Will probably think of more stuff to say later.

It’s 57 now, headed into low 70s for a couple of days. I was tired last night, went to sleep about 8, woke up and finished laundry, woke up and went to bed.
Guess I’ll go electrical shopping today, gotta get a box, some #10 cable and two splicing blocks. Also LED shop lights, shelving material and hangers. See how I hold up today.
Be well everyone and God bless!
