Finally bought a tractor, not exactly what I wanted but I’ve got to get some leveling and planting done in the next 3-4 weeks.

Randy- That's a sweet looking tractor. Lots of HD steel very little plastic. I really like the "lines" of that "era" of tractors; very functional. The tires look a little worn, but no cracks. :thumbsup: I wish you many hours together.

It’s all I could find that fit the size range I need for my holly grove in back and still capable of doing the job. Wasn’t going to buy a new one for 20-30 hours a year use.

Randy- I checked TractorData. I like weight to footprint to HP/PTO HP. With the 4WD it would work well around here with my slopes.

Einthewoods, if you get chains, get all 4. If you buy from a Canadian chain supplier you will pay about 30% less for them. The Canuck buck is worth about 30% less than the US buck.
Don, if you rinse the root ball off you will recover most of the dirt and it will fall into the hole. Or you could leave it where it is and use your BH bucket to recover the dirt. Either way you will need dirt to fill in the hole.

Got my diesel fuel $1.269/L or $4.80/US gallon and my gas for the Jeep, $1.30/L or $4.91/US gallon. That hurt.

Both of the game cameras are up. One outside and one in the bathroom window as an experiment until the snow is gone.

-2 now and snow in the forecast. At least it will warm up, some.
